I have worked with Stacey for some time and find her to be an intelligent, tactful, and highly effective attorney. I would recomend her to anyone.

Lazy, haphazard, missed crucial issues, and completely incompetent. Didn’t return calls or emails. It was obvious she didn’t even read them though her bills show she opened them. She didn’t prepare and during the hearing, she used my notes to represent me to the judge. He criticized her for not representing me adequately. Part of me even believed she, “my advocate,” was secretly working for the other side. No kidding! What a head spinning experience. More to come, I just want to help people not make the same mistake and help save tens of thousands of dollars on the potentially traumatic experience of moving backwards. There is another negative review that I could have written, our experiences were almost identical. I’ll include more later. Thinking of her creates stress and trauma.

Stacey took care of some family law matters. Her work was generally careless and inattentive. Here are some specific examples. I called about an email I'd forwarded that needed some immediate action. She said she'd read it but was clearly doing something else during our conversation and was not making sense as I tried to find out what needed to be done. After about 15 minutes, she suddenly woke up and said "I just read it. We need to do something." This was frighteningly typical - billing but not paying attention. There was a new paralegal every few months. Documents were submitted in my name and in first person, but without any input from me and with embarrassingly incorrect facts and obvious, ridiculous, and sometimes seriously detrimental mistakes. One document had me swearing my name was some totally different person. "Oh, we fixed that," Stacey said, but she hadn't. These documents are in the court record. They asked me to fax a signature page before I had even seen one document because they "were in a hurry." They were usually in hurry, and I got repeated calls from Stacey's latest paralegal trying frantically to throw together a statement left until the last minute. This was reflected in the sloppiness of the documents. I don't normally write reviews like this and I don't like to be critical, but Stacey's poor performance created a lot of problems and additional stress. Once I had had some experience with another lawyer, I realized how sloppy and ineffectual Stacey had been, and I'd like to prevent anyone else from having an experience like I had.

I feel like I got ripped off. They didn't earn the money I spent and I got no results. The attorney couldn't even remember my case and showed up for court late. Very unsatisfied customer.

Chad took the time to clear his calls and represent me at divorce mediation the very next day. I was satisfied and wish I would have contacted him earlier, instead of being so poorly represented by the attorney he was happy to replace in the nick of time. Aside from some minor clerical issues, am happy I found him.

Everyone I've worked with is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They are definitely on their game. Very easy to work with and they get the job done.

Chad Gladstone has represented me for over a decade on several cases and has been an outstanding and fair attorney. When I came to the states from South Sudan, I spoke little English and Chad was a great aid and friend. I came to the States with no knowledge of the legal system and Chad has been a great man to have on my side. I have referred him to many of my friends who he has also helped immensely. His help has had a huge impact on my life and I'm grateful for Chad and Schmidt & Gladstone.

Stacey and her team did a fantastic job with my divorce!! Even though it took a bit longer than I wanted, she was able to work her magic on a very stubborn man and get me what I asked for and avoid trial. Excellent professionalism from everyone in the office. I will recommend Stacy to everyone who needs a bulldog of an attorney on their side.

There are two people who have a fool for an attorney, he who represents himself, and he who hires Chad Gladstone. Shows up to court late, with bedhead, twice. Showed up OVER AN HOUR late to mediation. Rambles on incomprehensibly while charging you $275/hour. I fired this guy and hired a different attorney, best decision I've made in a long time.

My original divorce attorney was a friend/former colleague, inexperienced and expensive. Lesson learned.

When it came time to revise the decree once my equity in the "marital home" was bought out, I went to a lesser expensive, lesser experienced attorney. Another lesson learned.

My former brother-in-law wanted me to call his attorney. I did but she had a conflict of interest having previously represented my ex's brother so she referred me to Chad Gladstone.

Wow! Honestly! I can't begin to express how fortunate I feel to have found such an intelligent, dedicated, compassionate and tenacious attorney to represent me! Chad jumped in and put that matter to rest in a New York minute. I remember being incredulous at how little it cost me. Even 2010 dollars adjusted for inflation would be a great deal today (6/2016)!

I've since gone on to three other motions my ex has instigated to revise our decree. I'm currently in the throes of her latest garbage. It's all so pathetic on so many levels! Chad looks like a giant compared to my ex's counsel. He clearly has the respect and admiration of mediators and commissioners. I don't know what judges think of him but we're headed to trial at some point so and I assume it'll be a similar reception there.

If you, a friend, family member or acquaintance needs legal representation, I wholeheartedly recommend you sit down with Chad Gladstone and ask what he can do for you. You'll be glad you did. I certainly am!

Final lesson learned!

During one of the largest crises of my life I was depending on Stacey and her professional abilities to get me through. She performed admirably for me and also with the subsequent legal actions that took place over the next 4 years. She treated me with an understanding and personal interest in all areas of the case. I would highly recommend her to represent anyone who has a need for her legal help.

I loved my experience over at Schmidt and Gladstone, I felt like they really cared about what I was going through and were there to help me every step of the way. Their professionalism went above and beyond for my case.

I needed some help after an ex employer took me to court in order to stop me from directly competing with them. This was my first experience with an attorney, and I must say that these guys made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease with the situation I was in. I also came out on top, which was great!
