Charged $400.00 for easy case, to get it dropped down from B Misdemeanor to a C. Shouldve gone for infraction. He knew that. I also agree, Murphy is too budsy with prosecution side.

Mike has been incredibly helpful to my wife and I while dealing with an “ugly” ex-spouse. He listens, understands, and represents in court fiercely. He is more than fair in regards to his compensation compared to literally every other attorney we had talked to. I think Mike should be you first stop if you have issues with family law.

This is a fantastic law firm. The father son combo is great! Michael gives his son Daniel great advice from his many years of experience and Daniel is young and energetic to win cases! I had a ticket for texting and driving and Daniel represented me. He was able to show the prosecutor evidence from my phone that i was not texting and got the whole case dismissed! Now my insurance won't go up and my record stays clean! Worth every penny!

Bad at wanting to help

I loved working with Michael Murphy and his staff! They really care, are so patient, and did everting they can to help me. They won my case and got me everything I asked for and more. You will not find a better attorney and you will not find better prices! They really care about their clients and I felt that the whole time working with them. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I love Michael Murphy so much. He did everything he could for my case and won! His prices are more than fair and honestly think he should have charged more for the amount of work and attention he gave me. His staff was so friendly and really listened to me. I won’t ever use another attorney! I’m forever great full for everything their office did for me!

Anything that can go wrong will go wrong when Michael is your attorney. He is not prepared when we went to court. He didn't fight for me. He is a lazy attorney. He was the reason I lost the cases he represented me on. On my last case I figured I could represent myself better than he could. Guess what, I won! I'm sure if he would have represented me, I would have lost again. I would never suggest using this law firm. He has no business being an attorney.

Mr Murphy was great! He was very personable, nice and understanding. The Divorce that I went through was successful and I got what I wanted and he even put my ex in her place multiple times. He turned that miserable experience into a life lesson that I’ll never forget. I’ve already recommend him multiple times and I’ll continue to recommend him because of my experience.

Mr. Murphy really went out of his way to help me out on my case. Unfortunately, since I didn’t qualify for a public defender, I had to go to court and defend myself since I could afford to hire my own person legal representative. Mr. Murphy swooped in and saved the day by offering me his services at a discounted fee. To be honest he was a true life saver.

1 star is too generous of a rating. The only way he has any 5 star ratings is from luck or he has friends or family trying to better his reputation. He should be a prosecutor. Has not notified me anything on the case.

I have sent 2 emails asking for him to do the job he was hired to do. When I talked to him on the phone 90% of the time I would go to say something he cut me off. The other 10% he would sound like he was on the prosecuting side. The judge ordered me to stay away from my home. When there was no grounds to do so. Once we went back to court he did not even ask for me to be able to return to my home. I miss the first day of school for my 4-year-old triplets. By the time I go back to court I will have been out of my home for a whole month. All based on allegations (lies). By DCFS. The current court system is designed to Tear families apart. Leaving if what these people said were true. They asked the judge to take my children away from my wife. Who according to them would be the victim in this situation. A lawyer like Michael is I contributer to the unjust court system. If you get this lawyer appointed to you fire him right away You're better off on your own.

Do as advised!!! If you are in any type of child custody case, Go elsewhere not here, as he is Rude, Lazy and seems like he is just in it to see how much money he can milk out of you. Would Never recommend as Mike has never seemed to have the time to answer any questions we have had (My fiance and me), or explain how/where things stand in his opinion even. He is sure to get all the info he wants from you and then rush you out the door, as he is outa time and doesn't have time to answer questions ATM even when we have had an appointment with him. We told him we wanted a Guardian-ad-adlitem and he didnt want to use one, because he doesn't believe in them.. He won't push the other attorney for info that they refuse to provide even thou it's already court ordered to be already provided. He is useless, and does nothing but take ur money, and sit there getting no results. Put your money into someone else who is going to fight for you.

Micheal is a great guy and knows a great deal of child support and custody information. Great price and has pulled threw 2 separate times for me. His staff are a great set of lady's also. Very informative and can most often answer questions with out a problem. Thanks for your help.
