Sent assistant to appear in his place and completely fell apart in front of judge and ended up spending time incarcerated after judge failed to follow plea agreement and illegally denied me jail credits and attorney failed to reference the law regarding credits.

Absolutely terrible service. I was referred to him by the state domestic violence victims hotline advocate, and when I looked at his website, I did not see anything about family or civil matters but figured the representative knew what she was talking about so I called him. I went for the consultation with them, And I really liked what he said and what I heard so I trusted him with my case A few days later in court, he didn't even come, but instead he sent his intern or associate or whoever. On top of that, the person he sent to represent me in court admitted to me multiple times that he wasn't prepared for this and that he thought it was a criminal case, not civil. The only thing he did was ask the judge for a continuance 3 separate times, in which the judge said no. Luckily for me, the judge heard everything and threw everything away. I paid $1500 for someone I didn't hire to ask for a continuance multiple times and get rejected. When I went back to him a few weeks later regarding the criminal case that the lawyer thought he was going to Thomas told me it would be another $1500 to do that case

I would give no stars if possible. I called Thomas Demarco for a speeding ticket I received in NJ and he assured me that I won’t go to jail and my license won’t be suspended, “I’m very good at what I do”. Everything was fine until I called the morning of my court appearance and was told that someone different was defending my case. From there it went downhill, the attorney that I got was Kevin Holleran and he basically just sat back and watched as the judge broke the case down and made exaggerating assumptions. I have to say I think an ape could have defended me much better. So now I went from having a perfect driving record to a 4 month license suspension and jail if I get any tickets within the next year, needless to say I am appealing and hiring a better attorney. Besides the attorney being terrible at his job, they are unprofessional and act like they really don’t care. I can only speak on Thomas Demarco and Kevin Holleran, I have not dealt with anyone else. Put your money into a more qualified and professional firm.

Worst Law office I have ever dealt with. They will take your money and not contact you. The lawyer I hired, switched with another lawyer from his firm the day of court and never notified me. Never gave me anything to sign. Nothing. Acted unprofessional in every manner, from communication and handling the case. I really wish there were a lower metric to rate the services received from this office, because it was disgraceful, embarrassing, and pathetic.
