I found myself in the middle of a custodial battle between my daughter and my grandson’s unsupportive and uninvolved biological father. My best friend is an assistant district attorney in Pennsylvania and he told me to interview several lawyers and choose one I felt could represent us well. After speaking to several lawyers, I felt very comfortable with Mr. Garnes. He was extremely attentive and gave us great advice. My grandson’s father was unexpectedly making things difficult and we had a very short turnaround to go to court, Mr. Garnes made us a priority and took care of everything, to get us the results we needed. I can’t thank him enough for his support and attention to taking care of my grandson and his future! Thank you Sir!!!!

If I could give below no stars for david garnes I would. I will NEVER EVER EVER recommend him to be your lawyer. He is an unorganized lawyer who takes on way to many cases and cant handle any of his cases. Me and my ex husband we in the process of a divorce we agreed to not get lawyers because we knew it would be very expensive and that we would represent ourselves. But a 1 week before our court date my ex husband got a lawyer behind my back which forced me to have to find a lawyer asap to help me beat the case. I so regret I contacted david’s office. I never had to get a lawyer in all 30yrs of my life and when I used him he gave me the worst experience ever. He was the worst lawyer ever. I was going through a nasty divorce and child custody and all around the board he made me lose my case and I got my kids taken away from me for no legit reason. I’ve been primary care of my daughters since they day they were born never abused well taken care of and doing just fine even after their father left us in our marriage. He never answered my calls wheni called him never responded to texts and emails I had to use different peoples numbers just to get in touch with him. He’s money hungry and doesn’t care about your case or your life. To this day im still trying to fight for my children back. Im put on child support and my kids have to stay with their father and his mother raising my kids which is a slap in my face because im a fit mother to care for my kids. When we were in court he did not put up a fight even at one point sat back in his chair to allow the other lawyer to make me look like I was just this bad mother. Its not a game to me when it comes to my children and when you put up no fight for me and my children to me that shows you don’t care at all. Im still wasting my with lawyer after lawyer to fight to get my kids back. If I have to fight to my own grave for my kids I will but I will NEVER recommend this man him and his office assistance (Sasha) are unprofessional in every which way. Don’t call him to be your lawyer because you will lose!!!!!!

Mr. Garnes was a huge asset in our custody and support case. We are about 3.5 hours from the area where our case was heard and he corresponded with us and kept us up to date throughout. I rarely write reviews when I am unsatisfied but after 3 years I still think about how David ripped me off. I hred him for my son Colby who was a very young father and needed someone to defend him in court in Burlington, David was horrible. He would have done better by himself. Afterward we were not able to get in contact, he never returned my calls or my sons calls. He kept all of the retainer after one court appearance and to this day my son has been unable to get any paperwork. Run fast when you see this review. It is an honest review about our experience with this attorney. I was checking to see if he was still practiving and sadly he is. I believe the positive reviews are his friends and family. We had no connection to him and I think he would be best suited in another profession. If he says we were not a client, I have the retainer to prove it, May 2016, check your records and you should be ashamed of yourself, treating another young black man trying to do the right thing in life, this way.
