To start off let me just say that I’m leaving this review under my pen name to avoid any hard feelings with a friend who recommended her.
Hiring Maureen was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I’m to this day paying for her bad council. Not in $ to her but in other ways.
I am a gentleman and won’t call her any names so you be the judge of what she is about.
I came to Maureen with an open heart and down on my knees from the terror my ex put me through. My mind just could not deal with any legalities and so I entrusted her to help me without asking any questions. She dragged the case as long as she could giving bad advise along the way. I challenged her on it right away but she made it seem like accepting the lies that could have easily been proven to be lies with evidence presented to her. That decision cost me dearly. I specifically told her that if I am to accept it, you need to call another attorney (non criminal matter) to make sure it will not impact my case in any way. I don’t know if she did or didn’t but to day I found out just what kind of an impact it had on my life.
Maureen seen a profit in me rather than someone that is dealing with a nightmare and in desperate need for someone on their side that can simply be human to me.
Every time she came to court she was totally unprepared. The questions she asked to cross examine my ex were totally inappropriate. I have no background of any kind in law but even I know it’s idiotic not to ask questions to which I have provided proof to her to show the ex was lying. In the meantime, she dragged the whole thing for close to 8 months until I finally got back on my feet and decided to begin fighting back. I fired her and went to a good lawyer that costed $50 per hour more but in the end easily proved me to be the good guy and got me the exact custody I was asking for.
I hope that someone that considers her reads this and decides to do a little more research and pay a little more per hour for a lawyer who can actually help and has good reviews. At the end of the day, it will be a whole lot cheaper than being bled dry by this firm.

One of the best lawyers ever

My ex-husband used Maureen as his attorney. She cleaned my attorneys clock. Ironically enough, I now refer people to her who need a fearless lawyer.

I WISH I COULD GIVE A MINUS 1 STAR. YOU NEED TO SEE THIS WOMAN IN COURT BEFORE YOU HIRE HER. MAY BE SHE ONCE USED TO BE A GOOD LAWYER BUT SOMETHING TERRIBLE MUST HAVE HAPPENED TO HER ALONG THE WAY. ON THE LAST TWO OCCASIONS (AFTER MULTIPLE COURT EMBARRASSMENT BY HER) IN COURT SHE WAS MORE THAN HORRIBLE, INITIALLY I THOUGHT SHE JUST HAD ANOTHER BAD DAY - WAS VERY LATE AND UPON ARRIVAL SHE HAD BUNCH OF FILES WITH HER THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THE WITH THE CASE , VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY DRESSED FOR COURT, DURING THE CASE SHE WAS JUST FUMBLING WITH PAPERS AND KEPT ASKING IRRELEVANT QUESTIONS. WELL WE GAVE HER ANOTHER CHANCE (BIGGEST MISTAKE), CAME TO COURT LATE AGAIN LOOKS VERY SICKLY , SMELL ALCOHOL BREATH , HAD FILE OF PAPERS BUT COULD NOT MAKE ANY SENSE OF IT AT ALL, SHE CONTINUES TO ASK IRRELEVANT QUESTIONS IN COURT, SHE COULD NOT TALK INTELLIGENTLY IN COURT, AND OF COURSE SHE NEVER DISAPPOINT PROVING HOW GROSSLY INCOMPETENT, UNORGANIZED SHE WAS.... SHE CANT EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE OF HER OWN FILE OF PAPERS SHE BROUGHT TO COURT....SOMETHING TERRIBLE MUST HAVE HAPPEN TO HER.....SHE DEFINITELY NEED AN URGENT CAREER CHANGE AND A HUGE PSYCHIATRIC/MEDICAL HELP, SHE LOOKED AND SOUNDED SO SICKLY AND FRAIL...DO NOT WASTE A PENNY ON THIS WOMAN, JUST SEE HER IN ACTION IN COURT FIRST AND FOREMOST . AFTER OVER 2 YEARS ON THE CASE AND OVER $10,00 IN FEES NOTHING WAS ACHIEVED, WE HAD TO LITERALLY FIRED HER ON THE SPOT IN COURT.

POINT PROVEN! HOW CAN ANY COMPETENT LAWYER ONLY RESPONSE TO ALL THE ABOVE WAS "NOT A CLENT...." CAN ALL THE ABOVE BE MADE UP AND A COMPETENT LAWYER ONLY RESPOSE IS JUST THAT...PUBLIC BE THE JUDGE , BUT BE SURE TO SEE HER IN ACTION YOURSELF JUST LIKE I PAINFULLY DID...

Maureen got me divorced within 5 months and significantly reduced my support order! I highly recommend her .

I could NOT have been in better hands! I contacted Maureen's office on a Friday morning. Her secretary was beyond friendly and understanding to my situation and offered me an appointment that same day to consult with Maureen. After meeting with Maureen I had a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. I was impressed by not only her knowledge but with her communication with me.She took the time to explain to me every detail I needed to know in regards to my situation. Her expertise and positive attitude gave me confidence that everything was going to be OKAY! Needless to say, it was!!! I received the exact result I walked in her office asking for. Extremely disappointed with overall professionalism towards clients, punctuality of court appearances, & failure to accept previously agreed payment terms with clients that have divulged a financial hardship. Accounting department double bills clients, potentially causing clients accounts to incur negative balance charges from financial institution. Support staff extremely quick to blame clients for issues instead of first investigating the client identified problem(s).

Absolute worst law firm to work with. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. Maureen will be late for your court appearance and nickel and dime you for everything, buyer beware!! Within a minute of talking to admin, you'll get a sense of the place... trust me... what a little snot she is

She is the best

I hired Maureen to aide me with a list of criminal charges that I was facing. Thank God I did because I was facing a rack of charges and somehow she was able to get most of the charges reduced and the others were dismissed. I'm pretty certain I would have been screwed if not for her. I highly recommend this attorney for anything you may be fighting in the courts. She is very caring, very passionate, and hands-down one the best I've had on my side over the years.

Maureen is one hell of a fearless lawyer.
Recently I was struggling in a very ugly custody battle. I really tried to handle it on my own but I just couldn't manage doing it alone anymore. I finally decided to give in and accept that I clearly needed an attorney on my side, and reached out to Maureen. I spoke with her legal sec, Kim, who was very understanding & took the time to calm me down (I was in tears when I called). Kim scheduled me to meet with Maureen that same day, and I'm so thankful that she did because I was scheduled for a hearing the very next week.
Let me tell you this lawyer has blessed my life and I'll be forever grateful to her.

Hiring her was a mistake! She appeared disoriented and unorganized. She took around $8,000 from me. When I fired her, she refused to give me any refund or cooperate with the Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee. I do not recommend her!

I am so happy with Maureen. I am in the depths of a horrific custody and support battle. Maureen took on my case with zeal and care after My first lawyer completely dropped the ball and I got eaten alive at court. This time my support amount was lowered bc of Maureen's diligence and my Ex's lawyer couldn't hold the weight for his argument. I am excited to be able to go into custody and sit back and let Maureen work to ger my daughter back where she belongs. Her years of experience show in the courtroom and I am overjoyed to have her on my side. Her office assistant, Ginny made my court appearance tolerable and helped me with checking in and making the situation bearable. I am very blessed that Maureen has partnered with my company's insurance plan and I have this bulldog in my corner.

He been family lawyer for my family for 27yrs my father used her my sister uses her and unfortunately I'm going to have to use her also for family law but she is one of the best around wouldn't of went to any other lawyer

I went to Court with a friend she represented. The other lawyer was throwing all kinds of nonsense out there but Maureen was quick on her feet.

Maureen and her staff are amazing. I can’t thank them enough. I finally feel like my days of being bullied by my ex are over. She took charge and I was able to get the exact custody schedule I wanted. Now we are going to modify my support to get every dime I am entitled to.

her fee agreement she makes people sign when you first meet her says the retainer is non-refundable and that means that if you have money left or she doesnt do the work she promises or you fire her. she is going to keep your retainer money

OMG, she is the very worst decision I ever made. It's going on FOUR whole years and I'm still fighting the same damn divorce. Maueen Repetto has shown herself incompetent, selfish, unreliable, unorganized and disrespectful to the courts. His lawyer had to schedule a court date to find Maureen Repetto in CONTEMPT OF COURT because she REFUSES to submit paperwork ordered by Judge; she refuses to cancel appointments in a timely manner; she doesn't answer her phone; she has only one assistant....She should just retire and stop holding up people's lives and wasting people's time and money. Maureen Repetto is down-right INCOMPETENT and VERY ANNOYING!!!!
