Dealing with a lawsuit is one of the most stressful things you can go through, but hiring Kathleen was the best decision I could have made. I felt better knowing that I had her in my corner. As 2018 is coming to an end, I have a lot to reflect on. I went through some of the toughest moments in my life that ended up getting me on antidepressants and anxiety medication. I contacted Ms. Cahill on Monday in regards to a work related issue. I was looking for help and help I received. Ms.Cahill was able to help me without taking me on as a client, because not all issues require a lawyer, and some issues require a lawyer who specialize in another field. Also, you can't contact a lawyer with the intent to sue just because you think that is your right. Laws are there for a reason, becoming a lawyer takes many years of education, and continuous lifelong learning. If a lawyer is unable to help you that's because there is nothing they can do for your situation. A lawyer must look at your situation logically and relate it to the laws at hand. Ms. Cahill replied to my email within 24hrs. I was provided ample information to help me and put me in the right direction. I was even kindly provided who I should contact as well as links directly to whom I need to contact. I was even given an explanation as to what kind of situation I was dealing with. I'm glad I used my brain when reading the emotionally unstable reviews left by some. I was able to decipher the troll like behavior from the genuine posts and I suggest others do the same. My experience with Ms. Cahill was nothing short of phenomenal and I would highly recommend contacting her law office should you need help.

She was such a bad listener that I am starting to question whether or not we were speaking the same language. She just rambled on I could not wait to get off the phone with her! Glad I didn’t pay for a “consultation”, she can not be solid representation if she will not even listen. She took the time to explain the terms of the agreement and in the end made sure that the agreement was fair for both sides. Called this lawyer for assistance in a case, in the middle of me explaining my case to her she cut me off and basically told me to cut my story short, I just hung up on her. she ended up sending me an email assuming that the call was disconnected but I had actually just hung up the phone. No point in wasting either one of our time, I make good money but Ill never pay for poor customer service. She needs to take a class on people skills, Im sure she loses out on alot of business because of this.

Instead of encouraging me to potentially waste my time in an age-discrimination lawsuit against my former employer -- a wait of 3 years to reach EEOC's backlogged review, difficulty in acquiring proof, potentially expensive fees, and of questionable benefit since I didn't wish to be reinstated -- she instead directed my attention to negotiating a more beneficial severance package. I was able to accomplish this with her coaching, and the extended salary and health benefits gave me the peace of mind to launch a successful effort at being hired for a new job, which I start next week. Instead of being panicked about what I had lost, I was able to focus on communicating the skills I could offer a new employer, and clearly see the positive effects of a fresh start in a healthier setting. Rather than view me as a source of increased income, she helped me understand my priorities at a very difficult time, so that I could do what was best for me.

Ms. Cahill, was very upfront about not wanting to take my case. This is much more upstanding than other law firms, who ghost you, by saying, they'll call you on so and so day or 'next week'. Saves everyone's time.

Ms Cahill: become self aware of how you are coming across to your clients. There’s a reason why your reviews are barely above the ratings for Comcast.
