I was very impressed by Mr. Smith's abilities and performance. He is highly knowledgeable and skilled at his job. Importantly, and somewhat unusually for a lawyer, he is crystal honest. He will tell you exactly what the strengths and weaknesses of your application are, and what is your chance of success. This is rather different from other immigration lawyers who will give you a promise you want, charge you a lot of money, and then fail to deliver results.
Since my case, Mr. Smith has handled NIW applications for numerous other scientists, with steady success. I have full confidence in him as an immigration lawyer. When selecting an immigration lawyer, it is important that be able to collaborate and plan the case together while paying reasonable fees. I was satisfied on all these fronts when working with Mr. Smith.

His rates were very fair, and right after speaking with him for the first time, I knew he was a genuine person who was willing to help and he believed in our case. Dealing with the government and Homeland Security is very stressful and meticulous. Having gone through the process, I strongly advise having representation and would highly recommend hiring Peter Smith to help you with your immigration needs.
Mr. Smith is fair and straightforward. You only have to deal with him, and we had a good experience.”
He’s everything you want in an attorney: Prompt, knowledgeable, dedicated, objective, honest and affordable.
My immigration case was very complicated, and full of grey areas that required time and willingness of a professional.
Peter was able to navigate the system while keeping my husband and I well informed of how he was going to approach our case.
Peter was the 4th attorney we hired at a time when I was already in removal proceedings. Had we met him 5 years prior to that, maybe he would've saved us lots of money, time and anguish.
I highly recommend his services to everyone in need of an immigration attorney.
i mean very complicated as it involved court proceedings. Attorney Smith proved himself time and time again to be dependable and professional in all the cases he has handled for me and my Wife. Never did any question go unanswered and always with a timely and friendly response. I understand being a lawyer is not a free service, Peter is more interested in the successful outcome of his cases rather than the retainers.
In the course of representing me, Peter always afforded me concern, sympathy and conscientious dedication, and I’m very pleased and grateful and cannot express my gratitude in words. Peter, you have helped my family more than you know and
thank you again..
What I liked best about working with Peter was how accessible and responsive he was. We exchanged emails and phone calls at all times of the day during all days of the week to prepare my case. He helped make sure my evidence was well prepared, and he helped my witnesses write effective, fact-based, persuasive letters in my case. He was also very honest and easy to worth with. I never felt intimidated or afraid to call him with any question or problem. At all times he was helpful and positive.
Looking back on the whole stressful experience of deciding how to pick a lawyer and apply for a green card, what I truly like about Mr. Smith was that he works alone without a "staff" of paralegals, secretaries or associates. A good, 1-to-1 relationship was formed and helped us truly collaborate on presenting a strong case. I would recommend him to other researchers or applicants for employment based green cards. The small firm experience he provides makes for a very good experience.
