If you have criminal issues , find another lawyer.....not worth it, charges way to much for lack of results, not a upfront lawyer, and also is rude in personality which should of been a red flag from start but was new to the process and should of went with my gut and found someone else... he might be ok for DUI's etc but not for criminal charges....

For a DUI I would strongly discourage using Steven L Breit. His advertisements may seem appealing and his costs are certainly within par around Lancaster county but, his services are well below that. I cannot count the times my appointments were postponed due to “public appearances” or reasons beyond my concern. He and his paralegal, Heather, I believe, are not there for you despite what they say. I received a much higher sentence than I was lead to expect only finding this out at the time of my sentencing! There is no turning back at that point. Please take my advice and all other negative reviews previous to mine, even though they all seem written by illiterate idiots. There are many, many other DUI attorneys that will actually care for you.

Reply to breit: Steve this is not an allegation. I trusted you to represent me and go to bat for me. I made a mistake I needed you to go to bat for me not do what you did and i have proof and two witnesses about what you did to me and I will be forwarding the necessary information. And furthermore I had no idea what was going on that day at preliminary, you never explained anything to me beforehand you were jumping back and forth between 3 other clients and got to me last. It looked like a freaking ice cream stand in there and you were dipping ice cream as fast as you could to get to the next customer. I got in front of the judge and he said exactly " so you are waiving your preliminary hearing today" next I look at you and you nod your head yes, and trusting you I signed off thinking that you knew what you were doing, which I found out latter was a terrible terrible mistake.

i wouldn't trust this guy with 1 dollar. He was very interested in taking my case in the beginning and seemed very excited to win my case. After I paid my retainer fee. It seemed like he was working with the prosecution,not me. He never built a good defense for me. He completely screwed me on my preliminary hearing never telling me what was going on just that I was waiting my preliminary hearing. I went before the judge and the judge said so you are waiving your preliminary hearing today and stunned I looked over at Breit and he nodded his head yes. After signing away my preliminary rights over he said that he got the one charge lowered to a misdemeanor. Later he sends me a confidential letter to me in the mail starting that my best offer from the state is at minimum 12 to 24 months in state prison and that I also send him another 1800 dollars to stand next to me I guess. Now this is my first time for everything and I had a very very good defense in my situation. Steven Breit sent the same confidential letter that he sent me, he also sent to the DAs office, stating my best offer from the state will be jail time. ruining my best outcome for the case. A confidential letter telling me my best outcome is prison and what charges they can use against me. So he basically helped the DA in prosecuting me, and he also violated our confidentiality agreement. I have reported this man for fraud and for breaching our confidentiality agreement that we had.he also was notified that after sending that letter to the DAs office the DA decided to take Breit's advice and raise my charge that was lower to an M1 back up to an F3. The DA notified Breit of their decision and told Breit that because they had changed it back to an F3 that I had the right to a new preliminary hearing. And guess what after I went with a different lawyer. Breit never sent me the email from the DAs office ensuring my best possible outcome in this case. So I basically paid Breit 1200 dollars to show up at my preliminary hearing and throw me under the bus get me to sign my rights over and then tell the DAs office our strategy in my case and then demand another 1800 dollars to hand me over on a silver platter to the DAs office. Bottom line if you love you family and you love you kids and you made a mistake and you want to be there for them or you want the best possible outcome i do not recommend you to go to this man for a criminal case. he hurt my case so bad. And what he did was unethical and unmoral. How do you sleep at night taking money from ppl that trust you to DEFEND them and do nothing. That is a very bad man. I know what I did was wrong but it wasn't violent and I didn't hurt anyone it was my first time being in trouble and I made a mistake, I owned up to my mistake and I am sorry for my mistake. all you had to do is say I'm sorry I just can't take you case, but instead you said oh don't worry don't worry he'll be fine to my wife and took my money and did nothing for me and did everything for the DAs office. A lion in sheep's clothing. If you hate that why did you offer you services to be a criminal defense lawyer, you should have become a prosecutor for the DAs office

I had a traffic violation which could have resulted in a couple points and extremely high insurance. I was searching for a good defense attorney and he was the top ranking one. He took on my case, amended the citation and i am getting a refund from the courts. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an lawyer for a job well done

My 17 year old son was charged with a hit and run after having his license only a few months. He backed into a vehicle in a parking lot, got out and didn’t see any damage, so he assumed there was no accident and left. The next day we got a call from the trooper and immediately contacted Attorney Breit. It was a Friday and the accident happened out of town, however he came in on his day off on Saturday to help alleviate our fears. Fast forward a few weeks and we just had our court hearing, we never had to step foot in the courtroom. Attorney Breit came out and said to my son “you’ve been found not guilty!” We’ve never had any dealings with the law before, and hope to never again, but Attorney Breit made this process as easy as he possibly could have for us. He was definitely a Godsend to our family and worth the price we paid!

Fighter for my rights. I was facing a minimum of 45 days in jail for a 2nd DUI. Steven presented an open Plea to the D.A. and the judge walking them through the facts of my case and stating case law to the judge that allows him to change the mandatory minimum's required by law. I did not spend 1 minute in Jail. I am a free man because of the tenacity of Steven's defense of my rights. Steven=Hope even if you are guilty. You do have rights. Don't accept the status quo .

This guy sucked for a serious traffic ticket I got a few years ago. Yes, it isn't recent but the review is still deserving because I just had a good friend of mine tell me he represented him and he lost immediately at the hearing. If you're going to hire him, do not have him go to a "trial". I had to get another lawyer afterwards (highly recommended by someone that knew someone....) and appeal the thing and got the entire thing tossed out which cost several thousand more dollars. His defense was laughable at my expense. The cops didn't even answer anything that he asked them because he pitched bogus arguments during cross examination. Bugs me to this day, I've never hired such a terrible attorney like him.

Hired Steven for a speeding ticket, he knocked 3 points off of the ticket before even going into the court room! Great guy, knows what hes doing, very affordable also. Next time i get pinched, definitely giving him a call!

Steven is the best. I am a truck driver and i got a speeding ticket. I was clocked doing 25 miles over the speed limit. That carries points which would have cost me a suspension. He got the points and the 25 mph taken away. And i get money back from the fine. Thank Stveve!

Worse lawyer that I've ever heard from any of my friends, Stephen alegitly did not follow his promises, slow process, expensive for nothing and even a free public defender alegitly has done an outstandingly better and more than twice as fast than whatever progress was made from Stephen for the same charge...

He is a wonderful lawyer. Steven did work for me on a traffic school bus violation and had the citation reduced to avoid a license suspension. Steve did a very good job for me and my son. He explained what was going to happen and what to expect. He understood my concerns and did his best to alleviate them. This guy....This is the guy you want representing you when you do something stupid and wind up in "hot water." I contacted their office via e mail and he e mailed back literally within 10 minutes. He was in the office at the time granted, but what other attorney will reach out to a client quickly like that. He set an appointment and calmed my fears over the phone. He had a plan of action and let me choose how to proceed. We didn't fight the charges, cuz I'm just kind of a wuss when it comes to that stuff. But I'm confident had we gone to trial we could have gotten the charges greatly reduced. He was kind enough to even write the DJ a letter while we were in his office to smooth some things over. He returned my calls about 8 times the night of my arrest when he was at a family event then afterwards up until midnight. He was truly concerned. He's represented me in 2 other traffic violations and did a fabulous job. He doesn't rush you and every time I walk into his office I'm welcomed warmly. He and his secretary who I also can not say enough about never make you feel as though you're interrupting or bothering them. . She's wonderful!!!!!!! When you're going through a process like this you're nervous and scared and he takes all of that out of the picture.
