I had one tough case that was near impossible to pull off, and Marc Atas pulled the case off. I was in a position that I should of quit my job before I got hurt, after I started getting seizures. But I needed money to keep living. Anyways to make a long story short. I Stayed at work, had a seizure and got a traumatic brain injury , and I had made the decision to stay so I was really stuck at that point with Workman's Comp, because they wanteded to know why I didn't leave, and also I was begged to stay which made for a difficult case. I had a terrible, not at fault, car accident in January. Mr. Atas and his team went above and beyond what I expected. I've dealt with a few other lawyers over the years and have never had this great of an experience. They ALWAYS returned my phone calls. They'd also call me periodically to make sure everything is okay and to update me on the progress of the case. They set me up with a doctor and a physical therapist. They handled all the paperwork and medical billing. I just received my settlement check today and I'm very pleased with the amount they were able to negotiate for me. Much more than the insurance company initially wanted to pay. The Atas team had already filed to bring them to court and were prepared to do so if I wasn't happy with the amount offered. The last lawyer I had took over 2 years to settle an accident in which I was a passenger and it was only 3k.
