WARNING: DO NOT PAY ANYTHING TO THEM WITHOUT CONFIRMING IT IS OWED FIRST!!!!!
I have now received two call to my place of work in regards to a debt that is not possible for me to owe. I have even confirmed with the company that would have handled the debt in question and confirmed that it is not owed. Now, I will say that the number on the caller ID (and here on google) is one digit off from the one on the Attorneys website, so this ALSO needs to be addressed if it is not the attorneys office calling me. However, as of right now, I am stating that this is 100% a scam and I will be reporting the firm to the Ohio Attorney General. The only reason I am marking this with one star is because I have to to make this post.

Very helpful, highly recommended.
Please note: 2 of the one star reviews are from spam accounts who only have a single review. Another account has 3 reviews, all one star. People get upset with bill collectors, when if they had done the responsible thing and contacted the person they owed money, then they wouldn't be getting a phone call at all. Attorney's don't work for free. If you owe a person or a business money, call them and let them know if you are having a hard time. Ignoring people you owe money will only get you in more hot water.
My husband and I have two very sick kids. One is getting ready for his 2nd open heart surgery while the other one has chemo once a month. Because of the Mounds of hospital bills and care we need to give them, we have fallen a little behind. When my husband called to set up payment arrangements, he was called a "damn liar" by the guy on the phone..... Guess what? That doesn't work!!!! My husband is not a damn liar, and to the jerk in the other end if the phone.... Hopefully you don't fall on hard times and have someone speak to you the way you spoke to my husband. Also, feel lucky you talked to him instead of me.

Kataclysmical
I'm a very reasonable person when it comes to bill collectors. I get that they're doing their job and trust me, I want them to stop calling me too! When they called me, I was calm and nice until the man on the other line started being a jerk! I told him I wasn't working at the time, so I couldn't resolve the debt at that time but I'd be happy to when I start working again and he proceeded to tell me, "How are you paying your bills? How are you living???" Like I was lying, practically ACCUSING me of lying to him. I told him, "Look, this isn't how this conversation is going to go. I will disconnect the call if you start being rude." And he's like, "Well, I'll mark you for refusal and the state will take whatever action they need." I was like, "Excuse me? I'm not refusing to pay you anything?" Long story short - trying to make people mad does not get them to pay their bills. They call the company they have the bill with and deal with the debt that way, much like I did.
