Original post: The immigration process can be overwhelming, but Nesbit Law Office made things easy for us to understand. Mark was patient, realistic, and straightforward - which is exactly what we needed. It was a big confidence boost to have him with us at our interview. As we progress through various immigration processes, we have very happily continued to engage Nesbit Law Office. Mark Nesbit helped me and my USC husband in our GC process. He and shannon were very transparent with us during the entire process from day 1. Before starting my immigration application I have been referred by a sibling to this Law firm with a great review who I'm really thankful for the suggestion now. I met with Mark Nesbit for my immigration case. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my questions. His guidance helped me a lot in my case and I will surely recommend this firm.

After explaining my situation Mr. Nesbit proceeded to tell me that what I experienced didn't happen, which only made my anxiety worse, despite having explained what he later told me was what should have happened (My doctor suggested disability and filled out a form for me to turn in and then the state sent me to their doctor who agreed that my condition {which is mostly physiological with some mental like anxiety and depression}, but the state doc told me to expect denial because that's just how the state does it). Mr. Nesbit said if it really happened then my doctor would have filled out paper work and if the state doctor told me that he agreed then the state would not have denied me, making no effort to actually help. I know what the state doctor's report said, I didn't get to read it all but could see enough and had an extensive talk with the doctor about how I would be turned down even though he agreed with my disability. Mr. Nesbit then changed the subject to why I hadn't, on my own, been able to get this taken care of earlier, at this point I assumed Mr. Nesbit doesn't have any experience with any type of mental disabilities seeing as chronic anxiety and depression is kind of a no brainer that someone will have trouble getting things done. After explaining in detail the insecurities that interfere with my daily life, which was very uncomfortable, he then took one of the insecurities I mentioned and threw it back at me and said it was all my fault (not exact words but the gist of his statement was obvious, it's my fault and I should feel bad for failing.). The conversation ended with him saying something along the lines of I would be better of filing for everything I can from disability to financial aid and try the process again.

He might be good dealing with strictly physical disabilities, I don't know he couldn't seem to get past my psychological conditions and only made me feel worse about it. At one point during an earlier conversation I had to correct his understanding of one of the laws he was telling me I needed to take advantage of, admittedly deep down I knew I should've ended the conversation then if I have to explain to him how the affordable care act works, but getting so much pressure from those around me to get on disability since I can't work and my wife can barely make enough I tried to endure with the understanding that Mr. Nesbit could at least get a copy of the state doctor's report to see that he said I qualified but was still denied by the state, for all I know I got denied cause of a typo, but either way he made it clear he had no intention of helping me.
