THEY HARASS YOU- IGNORE ANY REQUESTS - SEND YOUR LEGAL STUFF TO WRONG ADDRESSES AND THEN FILE LAWSUITS FOR YOU NOT RESPONDING - NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE - NEVER GIVE GOOD ANSWERS - ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO HELP.

Brandon T. Barnett from Levy & Associates contacted me about sales taxes (and associated fees) that were supposedly due to the State of Ohio. While I came to realize that I had indeed failed to file one period, all others had been filed. Where they came up with any of the information they "provided" is anyone's guess. The bogus amounts supposedly due were also ridiculous, and seemingly plucked out of thin air. I assume high numbers are used to scare someone into action. I was told to "Keep in mind that the balance the Dept. of Taxation will show you, will not reflect the Attorney Generals late filing penalties, interest, or collection costs.". I guess that means that Levy and Associates will take just about anything they can get their hands on, not what you realistically might owe. That is, if you actually did owe something, which you may not! These are crooks fishing for suckers; as far as I can tell. If they end up making a case for themselves, I'll update this review. But for now, I'll stick to this assessments: Levy & Associates are scammers!

Great attorneys. They get the job done. Yes you may get a voicemail but that is because they are working hard for clients. They DO call me back when I leave a message. Very satisfied customer

Called 3 times during hours. Never answered.

Even when you DO try to pay on your debt, it takes 3 or 4 times calling (waiting on hold for 10 mins each at least) to even get through. And THEN they're only available 8am-5pm M-F. AKA when most of the world is also at work. C'mon guys.... it's called an "answering service". I'd think you'd have heard of such a thing by now?

These scum bought a debt from B of A,my Girlfriend let it go to judgement and ordered her to pay X$ a month.She is paying said judgement. Yet now the bank is also going after her.Don't you communicate with you're low life clients?Cannot be sued by you low life scum and by your low life clients for the same debts.Get ahold of them and obligate your debts.

They sounded all puffed up when they called and then when they realized that my wife and I actually were aware of our civil rights, they hung up. We called back three times and their office always says they are out of the office. Typical. My wife is dying of cancer and these cowards are suing us for an account that CitiBank admits to have already forgiven.

Absolute worst company in the world to deal with!!! I hope they go out of business!

They will lie to you and claim they "mail" you letters, when they never did. give you very vague information and refuse to return phone calls. They will also take three weeks to mail out a piece of paper, claim they mailed it and then take another 3 weeks to mail it out. They are also a collection agency and they will NOT mail you a letter or call you. They expect you to know they are trying to collect from you for a debt and then in a few months file a lawsuit and continue to lie. They are worthless scumbags. They will NOT work with you with payment options. They will NOT call you back. They lie, just to get YOUR money , plus they add interest to debt you owe which is illegal.

These guys can't serve candy to third graders on halloween. Specifically Neal Markowitz. If you need a good collection attorney...in my opinion...these guys are not it. You dont want them working your portfolio. Spend your money elsewhere.

These people are terrible I called multiple times to settle an amount to be done with these guys, then I get numerous run arounds. This company is incompetent. It's not about the debt. But when a person is doing their part to pay it, you make it very hard to fix the issue.

They will work with you if you atleast call them

This firm is the worst, if you get a court summons go because they will lie and try and garnish your wages. They sent me a summons and the address is wrong on all the documents they have

No returned phone calls

They hound you for money don't care about your situation and would sue you and see you broke in the street and not bat an eye

Nobody likes debt collectors. But that’s hardly their fault. They’ve been easy to work with, though I took a star off because it can be difficult to get ahold of someone.

They NEVER answer the phones. It doesn't matter what time you call. The service continuously prompts you to make "Payments Online" though. I cant call it terrible customer service because there's no service at all.

This is the absolute worst company when trying to settle financial matters. I have called numerous times, left voice messages, etc. and have yet to receive a call back. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as soon as possible.

These people are either grossly incompetent or just filing false court documents, which is illegal. Not sure why a law office would file a court order to garnish an individual's wages that has a completely different SS#, address, and place of employment than the person on a loan. Will be contacting the BBB as well as the county (Hamilton County) dumb enough to grant this order.

My employer received a court order from them to garnish my wages due to an auto loan I do not possess from an auto loan company I did not finance with. In addition to that the order has a SSN and address that are absolutely not mine. Their days in business are numbered.

Poor .Service they never answer they phones and steady trying to collect a debt sad they should go to hell

This office sent a garnishment to my job on an account that was closed 4 years ago. And I wasnt the primary on the account. Make sure you know your rights and appeal the garnishment in court

Trying to make my payment on debt and all of a sudden the website is saying that some of my information is incorrect. I mean, it worked the last 5 months and my payment is due today. Seems pretty intentional.

Theyll call you but they are not "allowed" to leave a message to state that your bank account is wiped out..not that that would be the message i want but a "hey its levy and assoc. Law office, give us a call" no they state they call from a 614 number..the day they called i had 18 diffrent 614, amoung other phone calls because i have a job that i talk to ppl alot. Sometimes i miss calls..sometimes they leave messages i call back..Sometimes its the law offices of levy and associates and they dont give a damn to mention theyve called and a bank has requested garnishments of funds which i had money for but almost wiped me out completely. Thanks for being so terrible.

These guys tried to drag me into court for a 13 year old debt that was discharged in a bankruptcy in 2000. They either knew it was discharged and tried to collect it from me anyway, which would be fraud or did a poor job of checking details.
