Helped me get taken care of after being injured and get just compensation

I spoke to my actual attorney literally one time throughout the process. I was typically referred to the paralegals, one of which was always rude. At the conclusion of my claim, I was asked if I was still affiliated with the involved employer. I advised I was not and was basically shown the door. To my regret, I referred several others here. The sales pitch is good but the product is lacking.

UPDATE: My issue was not with any limits or constraints in place due to BWC laws. My issue was strictly customer service related. Asking me to participate in the voting process? What? Decent attempt at deflection I guess. Doesn't change the fact I believed in what was being presented and it fell short. Period. It has nothing to do with compensation I did or did not receive. I also put myself on the line recommending the company to 3 others, who are having the same issues I had. It's embarrassing. I'm obviously not going to put those people on front street in a public forum, I'll leave that to them, if they choose. Im more upset about the recommendations I gave than I am about my experience. I feel like I let them down.

This review Is not to inform you that Hochman and Plunkett has fans. This review is as straight forward and real as it gets. I was seriously injured and diagnosing the issue was very complicated, over time i thought maybe i should go get some back up. Well that little kitty cat aallowed extra delays to my treatment in court While it spread. His statement was well we have to keep friends in this business. I fired them like an apprentice show with no love or charity. Mr don Scott from Hochman and Plunkett met me on saturday had the specialist i needed calling me on Monday and seeing me on Tuesday. Not only are they fast and aggressive but loyal too. I thought they'd push to settlements or back out if there was no pay out. They actually did the opposite negotiated a deal to get me treated and the thing s i wanted with how much money in there pocket? 0 dollars they worked for over a year for me. They only got small dollars early on from percentages claims that they took care of for me. This case was appealed every turn and fought buy many different lawyers on the other side. Hochman and Plunkett should be known as the soul and heart of the rights movement in ohio. Believe in this company and you will get treated. Guaranteed or your money oh..it costs nothing. Pick the shovel that digs deep because the kitty cat is already buried in corruption. Now call them and get some help now.

Friendly good lawyers and other sevices

I had them to handle my Workers Comp case. Had the initial meeting a few weeks ago and they got the first hearing continued so they could prepare. After 2nd hearing was scheduled I spoke to one of the attorneys on the phone (it was still 2 weeks before the hearing). Got a call the wednesday before hearing reminding me to be there early to meet with the atty that was going to be there. Got a call on Friday around noon (hearing is on Monday) informing me that they would not be handling my case and told me to find another atty. Very disappointed, they did not give me enough time to get another atty for the hearing so now I have to try to get another continuance. I do not recommend them at all

I used them for my ss case after having them as a laywer for almost a year they sent a intern to my court date that did not know anything really about my case. When the judge finished and ask her if she had anything to add. She said nope i think you coverd it all.(mind you she never spoke one word the entire time not one work other then are you so and so i said yes and then nothing else at all to me are the judge. After being denied they were supossed to file a appeal on my behalf and and 8 months later my wife got a letter from them why i was in miami vally on life support for 6 weeks and it read We no longer feel we can win your case because you have failed to show up to a doctors appointment when scheduled. Like realy im fighting for my life and you were aware of it but dropped me for a no show thanks alot for your compassion to my situation. And then months after i pulled thur i find out they never even filed a appeal on my behalf. Just want to say thanks alot for leaving me high and dry at a time i needed you the most. You would think with them getting more money out of a settlement then you get even know your the one with pain are troubles that they would go above and beyond to help people out. But thats what happens when your company gets so big the each and every client doesnt matter.

I have had a great experience so far with this firm handling my WC case. They have always steered my in the right direction in this LONG process even the many times I've wanted to throw in the towel. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of WC or disability legal help.

Not overly pleased. Still fighting case. Went to IC hearing and some lawyer I've never talked to was there on my case. He had no time to talk to me before our hearing. He was missing key evidence from my Doctors report about the allowed conditions we were asking for. When asked why it was not submitted, they response was " We'll and it later if we need to."
Needless to say they denied the request for lack of sufficient evidence on injury. This to me does not seem like they have my best interests to have my injury fixed. Plus I have to give 1/3 of settlement for unprepared lawyers and incomplete paperwork. Now waiting on them to refill for an appeal and hopefully submit the right evidence this time so I can have my knee replacement and get back to work and normal life.
Seems like I have been doing a lot of the leg work and phone calls to get things done myself. At this point my opinion is not to favorable. Hopefully this will change.
