I was ignorant of so much of the process of being thrown into the legal system and Charlie Rittgers confidently stepped in, simplified a scary situation for me, and directed me to what became one of the best outcomes for my case. My family and I have great respect for Mr. Rittgers as an outstanding attorney and consider his counsel extremely valuable to us and anyone who would find themselves in need of a defense lawyer.

We used this firm for our daughter's divorce and they did not meet our expectation. After approximately 2 years the divorce was finalized, however, she was to get part of a 401K that our attorney continually avoided answering what that amount was and now 6 months later she never followed up on it and we will have to hire another attorney to get the funds. Didn't really go the extra mile for us....never demonstrated a desire to truly represent the client with any conviction. Basically just a person walking us through the system...would not recommend.

I was hit at a busy intersection, after somebody failed to yield to oncoming traffic My arm was broken, had back issues, car totaled etc. Where is the worst wreck I had ever been in. Initially I hired the Gregory S Young Law Firm. After dealing with thrm for 2 years which was a nightmare in itself as they were only in it for themselves, I had to make a switch. That is when I found Rittgers&Rittgers. When I was represented by Gregory s Young's office, they told me that they knew my case was well worth a certain amount atleast. Yet oddly enough they did not want to put in the work to get the amount that they were suggesting. If you know that my case is worth a certain amount why would you not get the amount? I had to bite the bullet and make a good decision for myself even if it meant my having to pay double the attorney fees. Sadly enough Gregory S Young & their Law Firm still ended up collecting the same amount of money that they would have collected what I stayed with them or not. The only difference is they went against everything they suggested or said. As soon as I made the switch to Rittgers&Rittgers, I immediately was represented by Eric Allen. I could tell right away that Eric Allen and the paralegal Daphne were so amazing. The difference really was like day and night. Initially before hiring Rittgers&Rittgers I did my homework first of course after dealing with Gregory S Young' s Law Firm. Just by reviewing Rittgers&Rittgers website you could tell how personal they were, it showed a lot . I was looking for a firm that would treat me like they would treat their own family if they had the same situation. That is exactly what I found at this firm . They were on top of everything, great with communication, & cared about my happiness and well-being. In the end this Law Firm was able to recover money for me, rather than just for themselves. They were able to get the amount that the original Law Firm said that they thought my case was worth & then some! They were able to get enough to pay the law firm I was originally represented by, also now this Law Firm, all of my medical bills , and I ended up walking away with a little bit of money for myself . They did all of this in a short amount of time , compared to the other law firm that did absolutely nothing in the two-year time frame that I was with them . You see and hear all of these law firms representing themselves on your TV or on the radio and expect for them to back you up when you need them. You do not want to deal with a firm that is only there to collect their own check and to leave you with nothing. The other law firm would tell me what I wanted to hear and I was misled as they told me that my case was the type of case that if we were not offered a fair amount, that my case was a type of case that would be taken to trial & that they had no problem doing so. Well, when the time came, the original firm buckled and did not do what they said they would do. But it did not matter to them because by then they were going to get the money that they were going to get no matter what, therefore they did not care whether I left or stayed. With that being said, If you want to have Top Notch service & feel like you have somebody on your side, then I would highly recommend Rittgers&Rittgers! Whether you need to make a switch to another firm like me, or you need to hire somebody right away , this is the route you want to go. Ask for Eric Allen. Anyone who knows OVI's knows to file a motion to suppress. Nick chose not to & my new attorney was denied that option. No police witnessed me operating a vehicle, no breathalyzer, and no field sobriety tests. Was handed a ticket while sitting on my porch drinking a beer. They wanted me to plead guilty to an OVI on just civilian witness statements. They had no proof. Just had more witnesses(who lied) and better attorneys. Pleading guilty to an OVI wasn't an option without losing my job and career. I wasn't going to plead guilty to an OVI which is what Nick wanted me to do. I took it to trial with a different attorney from a different firm and got railroaded. Should've never hired from Rittgers & Rittgers. My new attorney got screwed by the court as well. Learned my lesson the hard way. Good luck for all who do.
