My husband had a “child support” case that was started after 10 YEARS, one whom he wasn’t sure of. I had a former coworker who had talked to me about NATE, when we were consulted we were assigned to TIFFANY. Right then my husband knew she was going to be bias because she’s a woman but I told him to give it a chance. Well little did I know she was bias, very very bias. We explained the case and the ongoing situations for the past years and she kept siding with the other party saying “it doesn’t matter.” Even though he told her he’s not on the birth certificate she said it was his due responsibility since the day of birth of the child. BUT she never explained to us that the court he was being sent to was just child support, and that’s why he couldn’t fight back, not in that court. The lawyer we ended up finding was very knowledgeable and explained throughly to us that first my husband has to change the court type to fight for his rights, get a dna test and then let the judge determine how much retro child support was owed because the other party had never filed for any. Tiffany never explained this process to us she was just very bias to the party because she was a woman, nothing she told my husband brought us any relief, she even told him she suggested him to start saving up, AND she even had the audacity to ask us for our statuses here in the US claiming the judge could “get nasty” and bring that up, little did she know my husbands a citizen and I am a resident so she had nothing else to add there. Not one thing that she said gave us a resolution and she was charging him $2,500, but why would we pay that when she wasn’t doing anything for him to help him? That was $100 of consultation we will never get back!! Thank God we ran into the lawyer we now have and has educated us on the process step by step to get things going smooth, and has done everything he promised from changing the court type and petitioning what’s needed. All this for less of the cost she wanted for doing nothing for him lol.

My name is Tiffany I hired Chris and Ben in hopes they could keep me out of jail. Well they did way more than what I thought possible! They had my entire case thrown out! I could not believe it! I still cannot believe it. I am so grateful for all they have done and all they have achieved for me. Thank you so much!

Initially Chris did his job and a plea agreement had been reached in 2015. Since my wife has only been able to reach Chris 2-3 times. The terms of the plea agreement have been met but Chris has not submitted any of the paperwork to the court.They have not been notified of payments made, the felony charge should have been dropped in September 2018. I still have a felony on my record and the court is still garnishing my wages for money already paid per the plea agreement. My wife last heard from Chris in November and has emailed him again last week. Still NO response. I would go with any other attorney. Especially if you want your plea agreement settled on time and communication.

I only gave one star because I had to. If you choose this office you will pay more money then court ordered to and then he will not inform the court the restitution has been paid in full since July 2018. That is when my wife first started contacting him. The county court house was not showing over half of the payments had actually been made. We will also be filing a complaint with the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.

Anyone looking for a great family law attorney needs to check out Nathan Hacker. This guy by far is the best. I came across him via referral and was pleasantly surprised with the way he handled my case compared to the previous attorney I had. Not that my previous attorney was bad, it was just Nate was that much better. He is very detailed oriented, knows his stuff frontwards and backwards, and if you are anything like me and find yourself in this extremely difficult situation of fighting to remain an active father in your child's life you want someone who will give you a game plan. As long as you follow your attorney's advice and are honest with everything (even if you were wrong about something) he can formulate a game plan and be prepared for anything the opposing counsel will throw your way. Even when I was super nervous going into court and worried about certain things that would come up, including lies my ex was stating he assured me we had this under control.
I've read some reviews about people complaining about the $100 consultation fee. Believe me, that is going to be the best $100 you ever spend.
As knowledgeable as Nate and his team are, trust me, you are in excellent hands. You won't be leaving a ton of messages trying to get ahold of Nate or Sarah (his paralegal) either. I know people dread spending money when it comes to these things, but if you are going to spend it I cannot stress enough that this is where you need to go. I'm a dad who is very involved in his little girls life and when it came time to put some money on the books I never dreaded it because I knew they were working hard and not just creating things to bill you for. These guys are honest and will definitely fight for you.
I think we all know how the system tends to favor the mothers, I don't think I would have gotten a better outcome with any other attorney out there. I was satisfied with how my 2 year battle ended and I think it was fair on both sides. Remember going into this, there will be times where you have to give and take with your ex, please just always keep your child's interest at the forefront of your dealings with them. Nate and his team will guide you and will definitely let you know to knock certain things off if you're in the wrong and trust me, that is EXACTLY what you want. If for any other reason I need an attorney for family law or anything else, based off of my experience I will certainly be calling them, and will refer anyone who needs the help to go to this firm.

My daughter was involved in an OWI accident where she hit 2 vehicles. I am a police officer and was very overwhelmed being in the situation where I had to be MOM and make sure my child was represented well. False advertising. I spent time researching this firm because the website says free initial consultation. When I called they tried to charge me consultation fees, which I explained they are advertising it for free. They were aware the advertisements and would work it get it waived. A meeting was scheduled on this basis, but then they tried to charge me fees right before the meeting. The classic bait and switch. I would not trust them to do my legal work if they will not even honor their own advertisements.
