Update. Now I get an email quoting me 1500 dollars. $499 is for indigent customers. So the $699 fee is starting. I was told because we right at the threshold and I have a mortgage. I found a great attorney somewhere else and it’s costing me 900.

Turned me away because I had questions. Refused to help an individual to understand what needs to be done or why they wanted to charge me 1000 dollars when they advertise 699. For a chapter 7.
Do not go thru these lawyers. No communication at all.

They would get 0 stars if that was an option. RUN FAR AWAY FROM HERE DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY! Tina is extremely rude and unprofessional. You will get an inconsistent response from every single person that works here, no one knows what they are doing. You cant trust a word they say. I was given a *free* consultation which I got charged for. I went in and talked to a woman (receptionist) and filled out some basic paperwork. Never gave them any documents that they asked for to proceed with my case. The woman asked if I wanted to do a down payment so that the $750 fee I was quoted wouldn't change. I gave them $200. My grandma passed away and I had spoke to someone and told them i wasnt ready to claim atm and would get back to them when I was. They proceeded to call/email me 6x after that conversation ALL of which i was charged for even though we never spoke. I ended up closing my case and of the $200 got a refund check for $89. George charged me for every single time they contacted me (which was unwanted/unneeded since I was not ready to file). I also was charged for the consultation as well as charged for them reading my questionnaire, neither of which were told to me about before I handed the lady my $200. I had called here twice about closing my case and apparently George is always so busy so you get to talk to Tina, who has no authority and cant help you with anything. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. If u change your mind in the long run you will end up getting much much less than you gave them to begin with. George is extremely unprofessional and rude. When I spoke to him to get my $200 back he hung up on me multiple times as well as laughed at me. There is a reason why this place is so cheap! Go pay a real lawyer who wont be a weasel and steal all your money even if they literally did NOTHING for you. Absolute worst business I have ever dealt with in my life and they need to be shut down.

Sarah the acting lawyer did not do her job quite well. I am from out of state and I was expecting a phone call right after court on February 12. She wanted to wait 24 hours before she could even talk to me for 10 minutes. If you’re paying a lawyer of any kind they should have the rights to give you a phone call Or some kind a smoke signal right after court.

Under my rights that I have paid her I asked her to help me with my financials. I was told it will be another fee. I asked to speak to her boss George and he was staring me in the wrong way as well. I was told by another lawyer that was interviewing that my case They were going after me on alimony as well as part of a home and other things. This is things that she should have brought up and never did. Ultimately I think she needs to go back to law school as well as customer service. Taking the time out to talk to her clients that are out of state. She also advised me to send a letter to my partner and I got thrown out in court as well. It was her fault and that part because they told me everything has to go through a lawyer. If I were you please Stay away from this group of so-called lawyers because they are no help in any way shape or form.

I had already met with one bankruptcy attorney and wanted to meet with this group to compare. It was a waste of my time to even go. When I arrived the receptionist put me in a small conference room with 7-10 pages to fill out. All something I would have preferred they gave me the opportunity to fill it out in advance. When I asked for the guest wifi password so I could look the information up instead a gentleman came into the conference room with me started peppering me with questions. Most of which I could only guess at without access to my files. He proceeded to not listen to my answers and asked me multiple questions I had already answered. Then when we discussed my salary I pointed out that I was retiring in 3 months and that was why I was there. He ignored my retirement and told me we had to look at Chapter 13 because of my current salary. I'm no attorney but even I know a major income change like that does make me eligible. When he didn't even know that and said he would have to check with someone, I got up and left. Don't waste your time.

The guys at this bankruptcy firm are top notch! I called 4-5 different firms before I did my bankruptcy, and the firm I went with the first time had a really low rate but then they ended up charging me a bunch of hidden fees and before I knew it I'd spent $600 and still wasn't filed and now they were telling me I needed to file a Chapter 13! And I still had another $300 to pay the court!!! I finally gave up on those guys and called back Lewis Dimitrov. They're flat rate REALLY is the price and they didn't charge me a dime more - I paid $599, they filed my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and they even fixed a bunch of mistakes the other firm made. Plus they were friendly and honest, and actually returned my calls when I had questions. This law firm is the best and I will refer friends and family who need bankruptcy.
