I am willing to pay what I can considering I live on disability. One look at the homeless situation here in the Denver metro area and I would honestly be ashamed to say you represent the homeless or tenants rights. You're a fraud. I just tell it like I see it. Called to get information on a possible case. They spent 20 minutes with me telling me everything I needed to know about moving forward or not. Very thankful I called them and will be using them if we decide to move forward with our lawsuit.

They made it very clear to me from the beginning of the conversation that they could not take my case because I am not in the Denver metro area. However, they did send me in the right direction to find some of the answers to my questions. It is obvious that they are specifically looking for habitability cases. They really went above and beyond to send me in the right direction to find the answers I needed.

I called Colorado Affordable Legal Services and spoke with someone right away. It was a relief! At other organizations I was put on hold or didn't get a call back. But not here! They answered right away and they were incredibly friendly and genuine in their concerns for our situation. They gave me some good suggestions. They made it clear to me that they care, they know what they are taking about and helped me to come up with plan. I really feel like they care about the problems we are having and want to help.

I called Colorado Affordable Legal Services earlier today in regard to a landlord tenant matter. The first thing that impressed me was how quickly I was able to speak with someone about my concerns. The other thing that impressed me was how knowledgeable and well versed the firm is with respect to landlord tenant laws. I've been a Realtor for 22 years, and I can attest to the fact that these guys know their stuff.
As a result, I gave them the maximum of 5 stars; however, I would have given them 10 stars if I was able to.

They have advised and helped on various tenant cases and have been super responsive and supportive through circumstances happening to renters in our neighborhood. We continue to share the advice and resources they provide to us to protect renters and will continue to refer to them!

I am very pleased with the professional courtesy, empathetic concern, and consistent follow-up, Mr. Jones provided during my devastating ordeal. He is loaded with knowledge and referral assistance. He prepares you individually to be confident and knowledgeable in your fight/struggle. He is extremely diligent in follow-up, consistent referrals to the appropriate persons, and educational material and aids to equip you with an understanding. Surprised to see such great reviews! Perhaps, it was just a bad day but what a great way to leave your first impression. I wasn't really sure who the gal was when I called to get a quick consultation about a housing issue that I'm having. She was very short and vague, left me feeling as if my "potential business" was insignificant. Called a different attorney only to be recommended back to April. I called back to confirm if her office would be able to assist me and found that I was actually speaking with the attorney herself from the very start. Her service was absolutely awful, I understand that I was unable to get "FREE" legal consultation given that I was not in the Denver area, but this doesn't mean that I wouldn't have paid someone to represent me should that need arise. She didn't even offer what services she could provide at a cost, which at that point I decided I wouldn't spend my money on her counsel anyhow. The fact that she showed lack of care/professionalism from the start questions me on how much she really cares about providing her expertise for her clients, whether existing clients or prospects. Very disappointed!

They are knowledgeable, very responsive and I felt so much better and “Prepared” for what came ahead after speaking with their firm. Colorado affordable legal services has been very attentive in meeting my needs. They’re a good team to be working with.

My husband and I dropped into the office today and met Floyd. He was warm and friendly, and took half an hour to talk with us on the spot about our problems with our leasing situation. There are a few things I need to clarify before I leave my review. I looked at all the negative reviews of this firm and the one thing that was consistent about all of them was people wanted to tell their story right off the bat and they were upset because they felt like they weren't allowed to tell their story immediately. As a classroom teacher I always tell my students sometimes you need to listen to hear without thinking of everything that you want to say, so you can really hear and understand what's being said. I feel like the negative reviews were people with unrealistic expectations of any law firm. That being said please give this firm a try. I wasn't necessarily happy to hear that I was not righteous in everything that I was trying to do in my case. But I listened and I gained knowledge. This attorney has a very calming demeanor and I don't have a doubt that she will do exactly what she said she would do. If you need affordable representation you can get it with this law firm. Be willing to listen to hear.

Wow! Out of all the help that I called around for weeks to find, this was the only advise that was sincere and made any since at all. Floyd first took the time to help me relax and focus, because I had just left court and thought I had no hope at all. He didn't rush me and he listened. *Correction* "Colorado Affordable Legal Services" sent me to "Colorado Legal Services" The person I was to contact was Aaron Bindman. I went to the building on Sherman and was wasn't seen by anyone, but spoke on the phone to someone who wanted to make sure that I qualified, which I was told more than once that I was qualified. The lady told me that I needed to leave copies of all my documents for Eric and someone would call me. Aaron Bindman calls me and tells me that he cannot represent me but will be there in court. No one helped me and I felt like I was brushed off as I watched Aaron Bindman and Eric talk to other people in the court room. I spoke with the other party attorney with no one to really explained to me what I was signing. Not only did I waste gas and time, I was left feeling like these people do NOT care. The only thing positive is that they were nice but not helpful at all. This is MY experience with them. Not helpful services if you do not have money. It is NOT free.
MY POINT IS NO ONE HELPED ME. This is my REAL life experience, I am a real person (God judges, I don't).

The business is unlike any other law firm I’ve ever dealt with because, I got a lot of great information about my legal issues and they knew right off hand what my issues were which, revealed to me their experience. Very knowledgeable about other resources that were very helpful and informed me of other ways I could receive help with my legal situation.
Most of the time, some businesses especially, law firms are in the business to make money but, this firm seems to be in the business of genuinely helping and serving people who are less fortunate or indigent with either quality advocacy or mediation services through them or help with other great legal resources that could provide pro bono legal help.
One thing is for sure, is that If, you call Colorado Affordable Legal Services LLC or speak with anyone there, it doesn’t matter to them whether you have money or not, they won’t let you walk away without knowing what your housing rights are, what your options are even, if you don’t have money. I felt like they really had my best interest at heart, and truly cared about me and I am glad that, I called them.

One of a very few law firms which specializes in Tenant Law in CO, and shows a lot of heart in prioritizing help for single mothers, veterans, etc. The patience in providing information (in my case, free of charge) is a breath of fresh air compared to what you might expect speaking with legal representation.
