The entire staff is amazing. I had the best experience possible using Fourth Street Law. They made a horrible experience much easier to deal with. I was very appreciative and amazed by the constant communication, the support provide, fast response to questions, the willingness and drive to work hard for me, and the genuine interest and care I received. I would never use another law firm. In fact, I have recommended them several times to family and friends.

Less then a one star as another said. Shame on you the first time, shame on me the 2nd time. She is dishonest ,and fool of herself. A family member used her once and they fired her but my mother was desperate and she told her it would be quicker and cheaper since Caroline had the info from the previous.
Her and Meghan have dragged it on , and wanted another $5000.00 retainer fee. They told her so many lies, have did nothing except what we researched and never told you where they were at' I truly believe they sit on there ...and then tell you they want more money. I could go on and on how much they suck, I wish we would of read the reviews before.

First off let me tell you stay far away from this law firm and Caroline. There are much better lawyers out there.. speaking from personal experience in business and in life she is a liar, cheat, thief and God knows what else..more to come in near future, thanks

Problematic.

I wish that I could give Caroline and 4th Street Law less than 1 star. She was hired to handle my divorce a little over a year ago and it was the worst experience. She charges an arm and a leg over and above the retainer fee and does not do a good job at representing her clients. Not only that, she is difficult to deal with and I can not, in good character, say that she has her clients best interest at heart, sadly.

It's nice when someone says they don't have the expertise to do the best possible job and points you toward someone who can. So many would just take your money not caring about the outcome

I sincerely thank Caroline, Chris and Megan for everything they have done for me. I had a consultation with another large firm before I retained them. I do not think any other firm could have a better understanding about domestic violence, the abuse of the child experiencing during this traumatic process. Our journey was very rocky and full of sorrow. They never gave up on me and supported me like their family. I am forever thankful for everyone in this firm!

Caroline and her team were fantastic to work with. They identified issues with a separation agreement that for 3 years I never knew about. Unfair issues. This has REALLy helped me. I would definitely recommend them and would also use them again.

Horrible law FIRM "fourth street law" in Castle Rock-
Caroline Cooley was paid close to ~10k for my divorce she did no work on my case and terminated our lawyer/client relationship the week before trial- She offered me no retainer money back-
Do not use- You will regret it-
Horrible people to steal and leave a client without counsel to go into divorce-
She cost me 80/20 split of assets with my ex wife-
Karma will get her eventually for being such an EVIL person/lawyer!

I unfortunately wish I could give a great rating for this law office but I've seen and experienced first hand what Caroline will do to a client if she is angry because her clients ex walked out on her mediation. She never again throughout the rest of the divorce proceeding represented her client. In fact she turned the entire case over to Chris, who had little to no experience in handling these kinds of proceedings. Chris is great at filing paperwork (I assume) but this is not about Chris. Caroline has refused to answer any of my emails regarding some billing questions that I think are unethical, and she even charged her client $88 for filing paperwork with the court notifying them that she will no longer represent this client!! The client found out about this action when she received a letter and the bill at the same time as the courts. To charge somebody for an action that she initiated (unbeknownst to her client) is about as unethical as one can get. All because the clients ex was being extremely difficult to work with, Caroline took out her frustrations on her client!! I could go on but hopefully I got my point across. If Caroline would have just handled this situation in a different manner I too would probably be giving her accolades but she showed her true colors when she turned her back on her paying client. I will also be filing a complaint with the bar association

I highly recommend Fourth Street Law for any legal representation needs you may have. My divorce was extremely complicated to say the least, but with Fourth Street’s help I was able to get everything finalized with a very satisfactory outcome. Caroline is very knowledgeable and talented in dealing with domestic relations cases, and Chris Linas has legal expertise and professionalism far beyond any young attorney I have encountered. Megan is also a very talented paralegal, and I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through my divorce without their support and compassion for my situation. I have used 4th Street Law for two separate family law matters. One was for a child custody matter and the other was for an adoption. In both cases the service and attention I received was top notch. Fourth Street Law helped me with a child support matter. I felt listened to and time was taken to hear my concerns. Navigating all the laws and rules around family court is tricky, it's worth it to have good legal counsel helping you to sort it out.

My previous law firm was not able to provide the level of service as was experienced with Caroline. In addition, her staff members, Megan and Chris, were knowledgeable and helpful. My case had not been handled correctly prior to hiring Caroline and she was forthright and attentive to my situation to move my case in the right direction. I was always able to get an answer from Caroline, Megan, and Chris and would highly recommend Fourth Street Law to anyone involved in or contemplating a divorce.

Several years ago Caroline helped me with my divorce and relocation of my son from Texas to Colorado. She was able to get my ex to agree outside of court and we reached a full agreement on everything. She held my hand throughout the process and always answered my questions. Just this past year my ex was not paying child support, and she helped me work with Child Support Enforcement and to locate his new employer so we could garnish his wages. I hired Fourth Street Law to assist in my divorce. I have 2 young children and needed the expertise of Carolyn and her team. I did not have the time to understand the law but wanted to make sure I would be able to navigate the process and lean on experts for advice.

I can't say enough about Fourth Street Law. Caroline and Megan did an incredible job of guiding me through a difficult and contentious divorce.
