We worked with Jay Muhaisen and his staff on an I-130 and I-485 application for permanent residency. Jay and his staff were a huge help in making the complicated process much simpler and easier for us. He was very communicative, even responding to our stressed out emails on the weekend within a couple hours, and went out of his way to get to know us and our case as well as he could. His staff worked with us to get all the required documents in order and prepared us very well for all the steps in the process. We never felt like we were left in the dark or with unanswered questions. Jay seems to be knowledgeable about many different aspects of immigration and family law.

Jay is the best! I had a high conflict divorce and Jay worked hard to get me full decision and parenting time for my kids.

Horrible lawyers took deposit and said they would start working on my case immediately and that every month they would send me a receipt of the balance left but I never heard from them again I would call but they never answered any calls the secretary always said they would call back. When went to their office they said they had missed the deadline of when i had to have a mediation so that the process would have to start again after 3 months of waiting. Asked for deposit back they told me they had already spent it all, I asked in what if they didn't even do the first thing which was schedual a mediation, they said they would call me back with receipt of all expenses. They never called back so I called them again the secretary made me an apt with the lawyer. When I went in he gave me a list of where the money went some of the things in the list said meeting with client 120.00 dollars but never met with them after first consultation when I gave them the deposit. Others said meeting with client and opposing party but that never happened either and I was charged. They took my deposit and never called back these arent lawyers they are thieves. In 4 months I lost alot of money and they never even called me back. Please don't go to them and if you do don't give the deposit or you'll never hear from them again!!!

Update after Response from the owner: Take note that Wadi's response does not address his office's fraudulent attempt to inflate his rating using false reviews from his employees. Instead he attempts to slander his former client by saying that he ceased representation in the interests of his staff's safety. It should also be noted that the Colorado Parole Board stated on Parole Hearing Tape 814847, a public record, that: my actions should have been protected by the 1st Amendment, as far as the parole board could tell none of my actions rose to the level of a felony, I never should have been convicted of any felony. If Wadi had done his job I would not have any felony convictions, I would not have spent the last 4 years of my life fighting false charges, and I would not have to spend the next 3-6 years dealing with the appeals process. Wadi is a fraud who is on the take from the prosecutor. He refused to represent me so that he could gain the favor of the prosecution. You should not hire him or his firm. If he is appointed to represent you or someone that you know and care about, you/they should immediately request new council.

I have used Jay on multiple occasions for a very difficult ex. We always end up with a honest review of our case and the outcome has always been favorable to us. Don't go anywhere else.

I am beyond satisfied with the professionalism and the helpful manner Jay handled my case. He has and still is an integral part of the process. An excellent lawyer makes all the difference in the world and Jay is beyond excellent, so I rest easy!
