When I first met Eric he was up front about the steps that had to be done for my divorce. Eric told me that this divorce should be easy because the only issue we had to settle was the alimony. He made it so we could get this all done in one step in a settlement conference. We were there for a little over 2 hours and my divorce was final. Eric was awesome protecting me and my property. I highly recommend Eric for any family court case!

My case had multiple phases with several contingencies.. Eric gave me an overall estimate of the time frame and cost at the beginning of the process. At each subsequent step, the timelines and likely costs were reassessed. At the end of the process the final cost of a well settled divorce was inline with his initial estimate. Knowing the cost of settling your case is an important part of smartly and responsibly managing your legal affairs. Eric's experience and accurate predictions allowed me to reach a favorable outcome consistent with his cost predictions.

Eric and his staff were fantastic! I would very highly recommend. They did a great job on custody and child support issues. They were knowledgeable and attentive to detail.

Durning my divorce, Eric and his staff were very supportive and always helpful. He strives to not only help get the best outcome but he also empowers his clients during this difficult process. He stood by me every step of the way and always allowed me to make the decision at the end of the day. I interviewed several attorneys and found Eric to be by far the best attorney for me.

Eric is highly respected in the family law community. He is a master of family law, has great rapport with judges and other lawyers, and experience dealing with emotionally distraught clients.
When I first met with Eric he explained the law and how it would apply to my case, given the facts I could provide. He helped me clearly divide what I knew was true from what I could prove.
When the case was assigned to a judge, Eric knew how the judge tends to interpret the law. This helped us prepare for trial.
During the trial I almost never spoke in court. Instead, Eric expertly presented my argument and concerns. If I had to speak at length I’m afraid my sorrow or anger would have undermined my ability to communicate clearly. I know my ex-wife did not impress the judge with her outbursts.
You will live with the consequences of court rulings for years to come. I talked to a lot of divorced people while going through my divorce. Every one of them emphasized the importance of a good lawyer. Eric’s one of the best.

Going through a divorce is a stressful and daunting process. I interviewed several attorneys but when I met Eric, I knew I had found the attorney I wanted to work with. He is super knowledgeable about family law and familiar with the other attorneys and judges in town, so he was able to give me an idea of what to expect from opposing counsel, as well as in court. I appreciated his strategic and thoughtful approach and his ability to focus on the end game, despite the endless shenanigans and distractions from the other side. When frustrations ran high, he was able to commiserate and listen, but always brought it back to the issue at hand. His focus was on developing the next step to keep the process moving forward. He's not only good with the law, but with numbers as well, which is critical to figuring out the marital balance sheet and an equitable settlement. He did a great job with my custody agreement and child support settlement. All in all, Eric made a difficult and challenging process less so and successfully managed my case. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone going through a divorce or other family law situation that wants a smart, talented and capable attorney.

When I was looking for a family law attorney in the Reno area, I was very new to the area and didn't have many connections in northern Nevada. Fortunately I had worked in, and had friends in, the legal community in Las Vegas. Eric Pulver came recommended by multiple sources. When I sat down with him, I loved his no-nonsense approach and his clear mastery of the law. I was looking for an attorney to help me take the emotion out of my decision making process and recognize the many factors that would dictate the process--in that regard Eric has been very helpful. While he helped me see how the law would likely apply, how the judge might interpret and apply the law, and helped me remove the emotions during a very stressful time, he was also sensitive to the stresses and difficulties I was facing. I appreciated his willingness to share details with me about the process and his guidance through the legal system during a very rough time in my life. Eric was able to help me get one of the better possible outcomes in my case here in northern Nevada, and he also worked with and helped me and my attorney, in another state, in a matter that was connected to my family issues here in Nevada. It was a rather complicated case and there was not a clean solution, but Eric navigated it all very well and balanced the concerns expertly.

I am also a family attorney in Reno, Nevada, and frequently work with Eric Pulver as opposition counsel on cases. He is a tenacious and skillful attorney who knows family law issues inside and out. He works hard on behalf of his clients and looks for resolutions where possible. However, when cases cannot be resolved, he has excellent courtroom skills and is very effective for his clients. He is on the short list of skilled attorneys I recommend in cases I cannot take, or when the other side needs an attorney.

Worst attorney I have ever contracted. Don't recommend you put your faith in your children's future here...just not a good, ethical and upfront experience.

Hands down one of the best attorneys in Reno. Before meeting Eric I was poorly represented by an attorney relatively new to family law. I then after consulted with at least 10 attorney's and Eric Pulver was highly recommended to me by attorney Kaitlyn Miller. I live in San Diego so other than traveling to Reno for hearings, every conversation was over the phone or email and the communication was exceptional. Eric Pulver's confidence and expertise in that court room put me at ease during some of the most stressful and emotional times in my life. When it comes to protecting my daughter I know I can turn to Eric Pulver and see I have someone in my corner fighting for her best interest. There are not enough words to ever explain how thankful I am for his efforts and because of him my daughter and I can move onward and upward.

Criminal. $300 consultation for advice you can get on the internet. $5000 retainer for a TPO defense case. Mr. Pulver did not seem to be even remotely interested in helping me protect myself from a false claim. I guess when your consultation is that high you don't need to take on any clients.
