She was very distant and didn't seem to have my case straight...there was always an issue with court dates and she never returned my call until the day before my court date....which was a different date then what she got...it was a mess from the start...I do not recommend if it's a drug case

I hired Deborah Van Bergen (Debbie) to help me obtain a peace order. I was being threatened and harassed by someone at my work place and didn't know what to do. Debbie helped me every step of the way. She listened to my story, completed the legal paperwork, and won my peace order in court. dishonest! stole my retainer $2500, only showed up to court one time, refused to refund the remaining balance, she never provided a bill, in court she refused to plea not guilty and mis explained a no consent plea and claimed it will not show up on my record, even though I had a solid evidence that I was incent, this lady is a crook and not trustworthy she should not be allowed to practice law!

office is always closed, only open on Friday! beware you will be talking to an answering machine through out the week, will not answer any calls after she takes your money!

I would highly recommend Ms. Van Bergen. She is very knowledgeable and kept me up to date through all processes. All phone calls, emails, etc. were always responded to in a timely manner. She was referred to me by another person and I would do the same.
