About a month ago, I received a letter in the mail stating that my 2017 tax return was being audited. I immediately became stressed and overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork and documentation the IRS was asking for. Since I prepared my own taxes, I was worried about all the mistakes I could have made. I wanted to make sure the audit was handled correctly and decided I needed the help of a professional.
