I spoke with Mr. Kublan regarding a family law matter. He was not very helpful. Candor regarding the difficulties of winning a family law case is necessary to temper expectations expected. Lack of creativity and analysis from an individual you are paying to be an expert in a subject matter is not. If the problem was easy to solve there would be no need to pay you Mr. Kublan. Mr. Kublan appears to be an average lawyer in my opinion. Your results will likely vary simply based on the complexity of your case. Meaning if your case is simple he will likely win, if not you will likely lose as he does not appear to be keen on details and analysis which is the skill that separates truly exceptional attorneys from subpar/ average attorneys. This likely explains the discrepancies in his review ratings. Buyer beware.

Mr. Kublan gets the job done. I had multiple difficulties with the staff handling the front desk. They can be disrespectful to the client, I've been hung up on and one of them was even giving my ex-wife legal advice against me over the phone. I had to keep calling them to find out what my divorce status was and I wasn't informed by their own account. I called in November only to find out that I've been officially divorced dated back 3 months ago in August and was never informed. My 4 stars are soley posted on Mr. Kublan's behalf. Update: Mr. Kublan made 2 written contacts with me, threatening to take me to court for libel. Moreover, his representative informed me that his bullying tactic worked in the past, and all negative reviews would always disappear after such threats were received. Apparently I am the only person who understands that if Mr. Kublan takes me to court and looses, it will be yet again a matter of public record that he is, in fact, not capable as an attorney.

This attorney couldn't handle a basic family law case litigation representing my former husband, bringing in irrelevant character witnesses and upsetting the judge to the point that the judge asked if mr. Kublan ever went to law school. Highly incompetent ... Truly dangerous ignorance.

Mr. Kublan has my absolute highest rating, this time on my divorce. I have no spousal support payments, no payments in arrears (I stopped paying support 6 months ago), no health insurance payments, no retirement benefits sharing, no social security benefits sharing, and in fact, no past or future payments or financial obligations of any kind at all!!! In addition to all that, my wife agreed to her adultery as the grounds for the divorce! The only thing that could have been possibly better is if *she* paid *me* money! Actually, Mr. Kublan had obtained exactly that (an award to me for my lawyer fees) but I was willing to let it go to get the admission of adultery. Since she doesn’t have a job, it would have been next to impossible to get any money from her, and her admission of adultery is priceless to me.

Once again, Mr. Kublan used his extensive knowledge of and experience with legal procedures to put me in the best legal position possible. After submitting a massive Discovery request, he then focused on the items my wife was deficient on and kept doing so for months. (Yes, contested divorces are very expensive, but this was my wife’s choice, not mine). By filing various motions with the court to get her to complete his discovery requests, such Motions to Compel, Motions for Sanctions, and getting my wife’s Motions to Compel denied, he was able get Court Orders for my wife to pay me lawyer fees as well as shield me from legal actions such as depositions. What an incredible lawyer he is! I have only one regret with Mr. Kublan and that is that I did not find him sooner during my need for legal services.

In addition, Mr. Kublan''s support staff is courteous, professional, efficient, smart, and also deserves my highest rating. Alexandra was terrific in coordinating issues and requests, keeping track of the hundreds of documents, and always responding within a few hours of any request. Cristina was great at the finances and invoicing as well as pleasantly answering the phone lines.

After telling my immigrant wife I wanted a divorce, she attempted to defraud me by falsely having me arrested for assault and battery (on the basis of an unwanted touch, which is assault and battery in the State of Virginia). I was innocent but the first lawyers I had gave me bad advice and so the Judge thought I was guilty. I was not found guilty but there was sufficient evidence for a finding of guilt. Consequently, I was offered the first offender's deal (after 2 years the case could be dismissed) which I accepted on the advice of my lawyers. I was dissatisfied with the deal because I knew I was innocent, so I changed lawyers and hired Mr. Kublan to appeal my case. This was very risky because the first step was to ask be found guilty so I could appeal. My wife is a very good liar, but through the deposition process and the extremely insightful questions that Mr. Kublan asked, he was able to gain enough evidence to prove her lies in court.

As an example, in my first trial, my wife alleged that I raped her on the night I allegedly assaulted and battered her. During my appeal trial, Mr. Kublan skillfully asked many very detailed questions that my wife could not answer and she finally admitted in court, in front of the jury, that there was no sexual contact that evening! This was nothing less than OUTSTANDING performance on the part of Mr. Kublan!!!

Mr. Kublan was able to document at least 7 or 8 other instances where she lied about the facts. In the end, the jury found me NOT GUILTY of the charge of assault and battery of a family member. I cannot express how elated I am with his brilliant performance inside and outside the courtroom. It was his expert knowledge of the right questions to ask, when to ask them, and how to use the legal processes and procedures available to him in order to achieve the desired results.

Mr. Kublan is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of Divorce, Criminal, and Immigration law and I give him my absolute highest recommendation.

I usually don’t take the time to post stuff like this but upon reflecting on my experience with Andrei Kublan and his firm I felt it necessary. Divorce is not a pretty thing and having an attorney represent you that understands that and cares was very important to me? Mr.Kublan’s knowledge of divorce law was only surpassed by his genuine and sincere people skills. I was warned by many about lawyers who drags things on and pad their bills. Mr.Kublan’s approach was about doing what’s right for me and overall the least expensive conclusion.
