Wow. I am not even sure where to begin with the level of service we received from David Daugherty. My Husband and I got into a pretty bad accident back in June of last year where he was unfortunately charged with the accident. I was hurt pretty bad and we spend MONTHS in therapy and I’m still not right unfortunately so adding to the fact that my Husband could potentially be held civilly liable, I was a little bit of a mess. We hired one attorney who had stellar reviews. Bad decision. My husband’s case got continued and I let out a few tears as I just wanted this to be over. THAT attorney who I wish I could name made me feel completely out of line for having an emotional reaction outside of the courtroom. He made my reaction more intense by making fun of me in the courthouse.

I reached out to another fantastic lawyer, Andi Geloo who told me about Mr. Daugherty. From the moment we explained our situation to him, he was very (very) reassuring that he would take over the case and more importantly take care of my Husband. He held to his word. When we finally went for our court date with the cop and all, he met preemptively with everyone and got an agreement to dismiss the case. The judge agreed and the case was finally dismissed. David went above and beyond to calm our concerns. His professionalism is top notch and I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re looking and searching, just stop here. He’s worth it. Trust me.

I was charged with a DUI & a felony in Sept 2016. After firing my previous lawyer a co-worker recommended David to me. David was very honest and up front with what I should expect, he was also well known with the attorneys and prosecutors. David got my case continued twice and though I was almost ready to go to trial he was able to get my felony dropped. Although I wasnt drinking and driving I took a 20 day plea ONLY because I didnt want to go to trial and risk a felony. He also was able to get the judge to let me turn myself in a week later & some how I only ended up doing 9 days (better than 20). I am happy this is all behind me, I understand everyone has a different situation but he was very humble and even made me laugh a few times but most importantly he was affordable and I felt I could trust him. I never plan to go to court again but if I do.. I know who to call.

David Daugherty, Manassas, VA was hired by my son to represent him in a criminal case in which he committed a crime while under the influence of drugs. The drugs should have been taken into account and used as his defense. Daugherty charged $15,000.00 and did nothing to help my son in his defense. In fact, because of his lack of concern and knowledge in this type of case, my son ended up in jail twice. He convinced my son to take the deal the prosecutor was offering and led him to believe it was a good deal without telling him all the consequences of taking this deal that would be with him for the rest of his life. Fortunately my son was able to get his job back after coming out of jail after three months but is now homeless because of the charge and his record. I feel we were misled by him and he took our money and did not represent my son properly. I plan on filing a formal complaint against him. So I am warning you, do not use this fraud of a person who represents himself as a criminal attorney. You will be sorry.
