Rude, threating, uncaring, and raising voice at me, all for calling to ask a simple question

They represented me on a product liability case. They assigned a lawyer that didn't have the experience that I wanted for my case and therefor wasn't aggressive in fighting for my rights. Unless you have a case worth millions of dollars than the head lawyers will take it, otherwise your stuck with the ones with less experience. The only good thing is , if you had a question the lawyer was good about responding. There should of been periodic updates on the case just to keep you informed..

This firm has done a great job for me so far. I had some questions about my settlement and Jeff was great at answering my questions and easing my concerns

I have called several times. The initial paralegal assigned to my case is no longer there. The current paralegal was gone at 1400hrs on the day I called. I’ve left several voicemails for the attorney who never called me back. So when I called this time they suggested that since I left voicemails before and didn’t get a return call, I should call back. I hate to say it, but I’m starting to have my doubts.

I want to encourage any person, relative or friend who has now or has had and been affected with Non-hodgkin’s Lymphoma caused by the cancer carcinogen in the product RoundUp to contact the Miller Law Firm in Orange, VA. These professional people have more concern, empathy and feelings along with the understanding and sensitivity of what you are going through who knows the law and how to apply it to each individual case. I have made the right choice for my deceased loved one and myself.

I have been with the Miller Group since September 2017. I am very pleased with the firm, very professional. Ms. Allan, always answers my questions and returns my phone calls in a timely manner. Just waiting for my case to be settled. Thank you Miller Group.

Been awaiting a settlement for 5 years now. I know the firm is busy and they do get back to me in a timely manner. I just wish I could get the settlement pay out since its settled now, faster so I could get on with my life.

I have bern dealing with the firm for over 4 years and they are the worst. They are rude when you do actually get to speak to anyone. I would not even rate them with 1 star. Considering they are taking the longest of thousands to settle my case. They don't deserve 40 percent!!!! They have not earned it in my book !!!
Update 9-6-17
They haven't given me anything. Keep telling me to ck back in a month. Online says case settled end of June. 5yrs of pain and grief. I have attorneys for other matters and so I know the way a client should be treated. I truly would NOT recommend this firm to anyone.
Last year I was so down that I needed loans from sharks, the firm was nasty about that too. Almost lost my home when they drug their feet. If there is ever a suit against them i would be delighted to just be heard.

I have been working with them for over eight years on my mother's case. It finally settled, and mom is now awaiting her settlement funds. Although this case has been more than difficult, I must admit the staff has been cordial and took the time to answer any question I had (most of the time). The reason I rate this firm with three stars is due to the slow communications and updates. Even if there is no update, I know those fighting for some type of remedy during the proceedings would like to see basic updates on the website, since mailing letters would be costly and would eat into the final amount paid to the plaintiffs.
Another reason I give them three stars is that the staff is overwhelmed with work, and can't get paperwork processed in a timely manner, especially if someone is out or on vacation. As plaintiffs, there is no "vacation". This is a huge deal, and many of us have not gone through this process before - we are novices. The Miller Firm staff can be short, and I am particularly peeved with the assistant to my mother's attorney and one of their receptionists that answered my call this morning. While she is overwhelmed, there should never be a time where the staff should give the client attitude simply because we are asking pertinent questions. Smart remarks and snappy answers don't equate to what they, as a law practice, are receiving in payment (40% of her settlement, not including all of the other fees subtracted from her bottom dollar settlement amount.) Everyone has a bad day or moment, but when you are getting that type of money from a client BEFORE they (the client) sees a dime, you would want to be as kind as possible, even towards the end of the process.
Overall, I am pleased with the fight they had in and out of the courtroom, but they sometimes treat you like a number (as in dollar sign) or just a voice on the phone instead of an injured party seeking their expertise in bringing justice to the "little guy".
I would recommend this firm, but I must admit, I am now neutral on their performance, attitude, compassion, and understanding - especially in cases that drag on for nearly a decade! I am still quite angry about the recent interaction with the staff on a single call (two employees with attitudes and snarky remarks), and I am just the person to let them know you will not speak to me in a derogatory manner.
Forty percent...but they DID win my mother's case, so I won't complain - she could have received nothing for her suffering.
My advice to the Miller Firm staff - check your attitudes at the door when you clock in at work - we pay your salaries. Other than that and the lack of updates (even when there are none), they would have received 4.5 - 5 stars from me. Customer Service goes a long way, and I LOVE writing reviews, good, bad or inbetween.

I just signed on to get the fax number and saw these awful reviews and had to write something! I have been part of the Mesh Settlement for over 5 yrs. During that period, they did assign different lawyers to my case but that is understandable considering the time frame. For the past 18 months I have been assigned to Jeff Seldomridge and he has had the patients of Job! I try to touch base with him every 2 months just to see what is going on and he ALWAYS responds QUICKLY to any email that I send to him. I always seem to have a question or concern and again....he answers it fast! Nothing seems to stupid that I ask! :-) My only concern at times is that overall, I wish they would send out more information , like quarterly, on what is happening with the case. It is a lot of money to pay them, but they are the experts and sometimes you have to pay for that knowledge. I have a friend that is paying 50%. But lets be real.... The ones that are making out on this deal are the 3rd party people (The group that decides the amount and their staff), and the fact that they are also collecting a portion of hospital/insurance costs for the surgeries along with their "cut", out of our reward! Its like adding insult to our injury when the Company that "damaged us" should be the ones paying back insurance companies, hospitals that want money back for any costs related to the surgeries. Everyone wants a piece of our damage reward and I wish they would work on minimizing that payout. It should not be coming out of our settlement! So, talk to them, give them a chance. I have already received one part of a settlement amount payout, and they are working on the second half. Of course I wish it was done quicker but there are THOUSANDS of us. I trust them to hopefully work as hard on that second part of my case. Thanks Jeff for all you have done for me! Kathy N.C.

Took my fathers case on and seemed motivated to help our family, My father past away during the process. Communication with them has been difficult, they do not return phone calls or seem like they want to help.
