Don't bother submitting a request for a consultuation. If your case isn't going to yield a big settlement so they get a big fee, they ignore your calls. I called repeatedly and it took almost two weeks to finally be told they wouldn’t even let me pay for a consultation regarding suing the school district for Department of Education violations. Mr. Ritchie did not call me. His secretary called.
This case was not important to the law firm. My child was bullied and harassed by students for 4.5 years and RCPS refused to do anything for the situation. I was willing to pay the hourly fees charged by the law firm. I wanted to sue but these cases don’t get big payouts with a 40% fee to the law firm. So there was no interest in just getting justice. It has to have a big payout because $300 an hour just isn’t enough for this law firm.
They are about money and not about justice.
