My husband had a garnishment, and Lloyd and McDaniel were the attorneys working on behalf of the creditors. The garnishment was for just under $7500, with 0% interest, and as of the time that I am writing this, he has paid over $10, 250 to this garnishment. He has been in contact with the court, and even drove two hours today to try to figure out how to get the overpayment back. He spoke with a girl on the phone yesterday, who said she saw where payments made from December 2017 to April 2018 that were not applied, and the total amounted to what he has overpaid. Today when he was in their office, they told him that they had never received that money, but the court records show that the money WAS sent to Lloyd and McDaniel, and that they had cashed it. I am contacting an attorney of my own, and every news station that I can get in touch with to get this resolved.

I am trying to make a payment and called two phone numbers one toll free one long distance and no answer. Tried to make a payment on the website, and it's not working. This is infuriating. I am paying according to the agreement and I expect the site to work or the phones to. Something!

Crazy lot of "professionals" they have been taking my money on a payment plan for 3 months. Now saying they're not getting them. Very rude, argumentative, judgemental, unprofessional, and act like they'd rather garnish you for kicks instead of actually getting the account paid. Ken definitely has a superiority complex. This man is the most instigating person that picks and picks to make you mad so he can just hang up. Also he lies every second. Reminded me to let him speak as if I'm not allowed to. He wants the floor, demands it, and just wants to preach and not listen. Really insane. I'm paying them and they still want a fight. Sad. Sad. Sad. At this point I'm convinced they just want blood AKA wage garnishment. You all make the judicial system look terrible. This is why no one trusts you all. Legal assistants that abuse the law. What they are doing is a form of bullying and harassment. I'm paying. What more do they want? Odd how the pic of the office looks like a plantation house.

I've been trying to contact this company since May. Via email so I have proof of interactions. No response until a couple of weeks ago. They will call, but will not leave a message. if your name is not stated in your voicemail. Found that out from FINALLY after getting an email response. Spoke with someone last week about setting up a payment plan, and got a I'll submit your request and call you back. No call back. I call them back, and the only thing I got was, oh well, seek legal help. Very unprofessional and not willing to work with you at all.

Quite literally the worst people I've talked. Wont accept payments through cards at all, just keep repeating the same things over and over. Dont take anything into consideration. Just keep talking nonsense and do not listen to what anyone says

Apparently this place is truly a rip-off I've been calling for the past 4 months and leaving voicemails no response or call back from them but if you mail them a letter they will respond try to settle some debt but they still did not respond to me they wanted to basically take me to court for court costs and pay the 6% extra for my debt truly a poor excuse of law practice

After filing bankruptcy three weeks ago, wage garnishment is still happening because they refuse to do their job. They have taken $12,000 from me when the judgment amount was $8,888 Their “lawyers” never return calls. Their website is useless. These people are rude, dishonest and thieves.

I got a loan 6 years ago through lending tree and when I lost my job and couldn't pay the payment for a month, they would not work with me on payments so some time went by and when I got a new job (within a month) they wanted more than what i could pay. So I let the debt go to a collection agency. That agency (Taylor Law LLC) came against me for the debt and we settled for $3,200.00 with them withdrawing $400.00 out of my checking account every two weeks until it was paid in full. Taylor Law took all payments except the last payment of $400.00 and then sold the account to Lloyd & McDaniels which claims that I owe $1400.00. I have sent them proof of all the payments that I made and the original agreement showing that I only owe $400 since Nov and they only gave me a run-around instead of resolving the issue. They have now leveed my bank account and taken $1000.00 more than they should have and I need this resolved immediately because we live paycheck to paycheck and bills are trying to come out and can't.

Called. A week ago to settle on a judgement they have on me and still dont have an answer after i was told it would take 3-5 days still no answer on if they will take my offer. Am trying to pay these people but its like they don't want to take my money. And are so rude its sad. Also coming up with their own amount that is due verse what everybody else is showing in their system total bs.

Very rude, unprofessional and non accommodating. They are currently taking about $600.00 a month out of my check! I can’t even eat due to the amount they are taking out of my check and they can’t lower the amount.
BTW Rosita, that is almost exactly what happened to me. My lawyer stated that this can happen because “Sloppy Copy “ is credible in our judicial system! They are nasty , non- caring people.

Never returns calls. Horrible communication. I've tried to set up payment s again but was told arrangement was broken and the only thing was gatnishment. I would think they would want payments instead of getting bankruptcy notice and then get nothing, but I guess not.

Most worthless company I have dealt with. They have no problem hurrying up on putting and hold on your account but want to take there sweet time on removing the hold. Plus they dont return any phone calls. This debt happened back in 2013 and it was a over look and to top it all off it was only 700 dollars. That they MADE a huge deal over.

Have a judgement in my favor to overturn garnishment and pay the sum back to me. They claim not to recognize the documents. Highly unprofessional and unethical. Making a mockery of the court system.

Which is fine I’m not complaining about it there wasn’t any significant amount on that account anyway. What bothered me is they garnished my teen daughters account because my name is on it too, bank policy I had to be on there because she’s a minor.there was less than $300 on there which they were supposed to release it back to her here is a month latter going back and forth on the phone with them they don’t even want to talk they just send you straight to voicemail .

I was paying a small cc debt through them. I emailed and asked for a detailed list of payment and balance with no response. Had called and had no reply to voicemails. I would like a monthly statement. But have never saw a balance. I’m happy to take care of the true amount due to the creditor but need to have statements. I will put my monthly payment in an account and keep track of it monthly until I see a statement and then take my records to court. The person I did speak to interrupted me before I finished telling them what I was calling for. Just not good service. Very poor. I also tried to request a settlement offer with no response as well. Going to contact someone to assist. Just be fair and honest.

I wouldn't dare give this law firm one star, but it was a must. They lack communication, you send letters, emails and even call and leave voicemails and not one call is ever returned. I have had to file a complaint with the BBB. They are only out to garnish wages and not looking to assist the individuals whom they are trying to do so to.
It is very sad that they result to the lowest of low measures. I know so many individuals who have and are suffering at the hands of Lloyd & McDaniel.

They send me a letter from a jcpenny account that i do not have all the numbers on the letter are disconnected after i reached the front desk once and left a voicemail i have been trying for weeks to reach this company after that I'm trying to figure where this coming from or is it identity theft !

Sad bunch of people here. Collecting debts from 13 + years ago. Freezing peoples accounts. Not sending any information about the so called back account. Charging interest on accounts they let set for 13+ years. Gotta love our law system. Steal from the poor and line you pockets LAWYERS.

I paid on a collection amount since 2014 every month and never missed a payment . In October I wondered why Someone from Taylor Law had not called for my payment like they had since 2014.

I goggled Taylor Law to call them to make a payment. That is when I found out that Lloyd and McDaniel company was now handling my account. But the strange thing is the same person I had been making payments answer the phone pretended that nothing had change .

I became concerned since that Taylor Law was no longer handling my account if the correct balance had transferred. That is when all hell broke lose. This nice lady(I'm kidding she is a real pice of work) said we don't send out balances in writing, but I can tell you over the phone. I said no I need it in writing. After going back and forth, she was trying real hard to upset me.. She transferrd me to her supervisor, who also refused to put the balance in writing.

A few days later I received an email that stated" I had reached an agreement with their office, and gave a different due date.

Know I have a new balance and no one can explain in writing where my money has gone for past 2+ years.

Everyone we are entitle to our balance in writing . Please reach out to your local, state and federal agencies for help in how to deal with companies like this. I'm hopeful.

Lastly. One star was the lowest rating goggle has, and they don't deserve that.

MY STORY: Anyone dealing with them, please make sure you get you own lawyer because they will quickly backdoor you. They care nothing about you, your family, or your situation.

I had almost $40,000 all total in debt with different people when I stopped using drugs and drinking 13 years ago. It took me a few years to figure out what a normal life was and how to live it.

About 3 years ago I decided to start paying all that off. Instead of filing bankruptcy and just giving up. I wanted to be a better person and pay what I owe. Last year I had no bad credit. Just no credit. That was worse that I learned. Well I figured out how to build my credit. I went from a credit score of 420 to 586 in one year. All by myself.

About a year ago I got a letter From Lloyd and McDaniel. I owed over $2,000 dollars for a hospital bill. I told them I would pay 50 dollars a month for a couple months then another bill I was paying on would be paid off. Then I would pay them 110 dollars a month. I NEVER missed a payment. No matter how hard it was for me.

Back in June I got really ill. I couldn't pay their payments. I called and just asked for time. Not for relief from the debt, just time. I thought I would go back to work in August. I told them if I don't call you, please call me. With all the appointments and medicines I do forget things. They did not call me. They wiped out all three of my bank accounts. Wich because I am so poor had a total of 107 dollars.

I am on short term disability, bring home 219 a week, just yesterday had a spinal fluid procedure done and having a shoulder reconstruction surgery on Monday. I have 4 more surgeries to go. I am barely getting by.

I begged them to please take no more money from me, asked them where their compassion and humanity went, all I wanted was time. I will pay my debt just let me get back to work.
They insisted I pay them and now won't answer my calls. All for 1000 dollars. When I have already paid around 1400. I also told them I would send them medical records or pay stubs to show proof or bank statements to show I only get gas, groceries, and bills.

I have to call my work and stop my direct deposits from my disability, I have to not get a bank account, I have to get my money put on a prepaid card that charges you. I told them I would make sure it costs them more money than the little 1000 I have left to pay and fight them before they get another dime from me. I do not want to be that person that doesn't pay their bills but I will be the one that fights back.

They are the dirtiest company you can deal with! They will make up lies and try to get money you do not have. They are very rude on the phone and you never can get a manager. Ronnie is the worst he not only lied and said I owed over 6000 when that is double the amount and he knew that the company told him tge exact amount and he never sent me any kind of paperwork on anything and on top of it all he already knew it was in debt consolidation but went to court smh!Your company will get karma buddy I'm still not bother by your messy actions. Do not give them any information about how much you make,bank info or admit to anything always say you do not approve of them recording you because they are scammers! Very poor service. Requested several times to speak to someone who can give me a break down of my payments and never received call back. Also sent an email with no return. Definitely happy to take the money but that's all. Where has " good customer service" gone?

Very poor service. I have been requesting payment breakdown for the last 2 months and they still haven't gotten back with me
