What a piece of ****. He is soulless. He represented my ex and yes arrogant, likes the sound of his voice, his outbursts, I've seen them all. He's not a good attorney, just a douche that wont quit. He got lucky in my cases. Unfortunately system isn't fair. However, he is a flat out liar, and I have proven that. He's snuck in things on filings, misrepresented, backs out of verbal agreements. He has had multiple complaints with the Bar Association violating the ethical standard lawyers must follow. He shouldn't even have his license to practice. If you have no soul too, you'll love him!
We all have someone to answer to, and on that day, this dude will have a lot of explaining to do.
Mr.Watkins has worked with me on a few things in the last couple years,I bought a Business, he had great advise ,and got everything done in a timely manor.
He did the paperwork for my company to set up for a contract I needed for an employee of mine that was doing plumbing school, and yet again he had great advise and the process went smooth
I got a speeding ticket going 31 over the speed limit which I regret for many reasons Well he got the ticket reduced down to a parking violation which was a lot better than a weekend in jail which is what the prosecution wanted to do
Every time I’ve needed MrWatkins services he has gotten everything done that I needed in a timely manor his fees are fair ,and always helped me in the process,he’s very thorough and a great attorney to work with

Don't bother!!! I would give him a big fat zero if I could. We were have an easy adoption. The other parent already signed over rights. He drug it out to get extra money out of us. Then dropped the ball on filling paper work in the state where she was born. When I addressed it with him he tried to get more money out of me that would only take a stamp. I mailed it my self.. He is VERY arrogant and talks down to women...

Mr. Watkins represented our disabled daughter in a rather emotional legal matter. He provided calm, clear and solid guidance at a time when we really needed it and he got the matter resolved very satisfactorily in a short period of time. Mike had been recommended to us a strong but caring attorney of genuine integrity, and he lived up to that expectation. His fee seemed very reasonable.

I agree with the other reviews. He is rude, belittling and overbearing. He ask you a question, then cuts you off and does not let you answer. He did not read and review the documents given to him. He may know what he is doing, but I could not work with someone like him.

I was disgusted and appalled at the way this attorney speaks to his clients. He is completely disrespectful, rude, belittling, demeaning, overbearing, inconsiderate, incompetent, negligent and exceptionally two-faced. This is a pattern with him -- not a one time occurrence of a person having a bad day. The footer at the end of his invoice says "Trusting God -- Impacting Lives -- Building Dreams". I almost threw up when I read it. It should say "Yelling at Clients -- Ruining Lives -- Crumbling Dreams".

Wow, all I can say is that the other reviewer here hit my opinion right on the head! I wish I would have read this before going to him. Mr. Watkins is frankly a complete jerk. He is rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. I went to him because he is close to my office and I thought it was a simple case (a name change), but boy do I wish I would have gone somewhere else.
He called a meeting with me just before we went to court, and when I got to his office he said to me "well I guess you needed to see me because you don't know how to act in court". Umm...WTF. YOU called this meeting, not me! He refused to acknowledge this and then went on to tell me that I should dress 'appropriately' for a female, not like I am going to a club. I am a general manager of a hotel and every time I saw this man I was in a business suit - why on Earth would he suggest that I would dress any other way for court??
When we got to court, it turned out that he did not have the proper documentation, so after spending an entire day away from the office we had to leave court empty handed and reschedule for a month later. And he had the nerve to charge me $300 for returning to court for a mistake that HE made!!
I won't go in to everything else, but I can direct you to the other review here because it is exactly correct. Mr. Watkins has absolutely zero social skills and it is appalling that he runs his business this way.
The one good thing that I can say is that the girl that works in his office, Jessica, is a complete doll and was very helpful and empathetic through the entire process. She deserves much better treatment than what she gets working for this jerk.
