Does not return calls. I spent 5 minutes with him. He charged me 100.00. The job was a fleet fee of 1300. The 100.00 was part of payment. I called but never received call back. That was over 2 months ago. I found a different attorney who got the job done. Called this attorney and asked about refund. No way. So I will be spreading the news and hope you do too.

I am a single father who needed an attorney to assist in my fight for custody of my son. I had tried several attorneys, including one of the local, big-name, father’s rights advocacy firms. I am a very hands on sort of person and was often dissatisfied with my representation. I found that I was doing most of the work and was really just paying someone to explain to me what I was doing just fine on my own. I finally had someone recommend Mr. Steinman to me. He rarely called me just to check in with me, though he did call if there were developments in my case. He did not coddle me and send me multiple (billable) reminders about upcoming case management conferences and court dates.

If you are looking for an attorney with great ideas for real compromises, who will not just acquiesce because it is easy, look no further. While drafting the parenting plan, the snags that Mom and I ran into would have held us up indefinitely, but he provided thoughtful resolutions to keep things moving.

In the end, I ended up with custody, school, and medical. Mom ended up with a few weekends throughout the year and part of the summer. I really could not be happier with the services provided by Mr. Steinman. His experience and candor actually saved me money and gave me more than I could have ever hoped to get.
