I highly recommend brian I have used him for criminal cases when I was younger(charges dismissed) and recently for a wide array of traffic tickets over 7 all them all them are out the window except one and that was reduced to a lesser charge but guess what no points on my license that all that matter I highly recommend this guy for criminal and traffic I have used him for both and he exceeded my expectation on each occasion thank you mr polinske

Very good attorney. Brian is very straight forward and to the point. He also only charged me the retainer fee and there were no additional cost. Although I’m sure that differs with each person depending on your case. If there was a fault it would be the communication between Brian and his secretary on the days you need to be at court. That said, whether you’re told that you don’t need to be at court, because Brian will be there or not, my strong advice would be to go regardless on every court date just to be safe. Thats the only reason for 4 stars. Other than that I’d give a 5 star rating. Having said that, would I recommend Brian and would I hire him again? Yes I would. There’s not another attorney Id wanna hire to fight for me. Thanks again Brian!

I only had a phone conversation with him about my friend that his wife is representing, but I appreciated that he took the time out to speak to me. He answered all my questions, honestly, which I totally respected. I would recommend him just by our 5-10 minute conversation. I Paid Brian Polinske $800 and he didn't even show up to court dates. Worst experience ever. He Promised to squash my warrant and bring all my charges into one, Which he failed to do. He failed to show up twice so they found me guilty for 2 charges. Had to pay another $300 to get out on the warrant he failed to squash. Total $1100 For this man to do NOTHING! Save your money and find a GOOD lawyer. Brian Polinske is a theif/Liar will take your money and run.

Brian and the paralegal working under him are both very rude and frankly do not care about their clients. Any time I had any sort of question I was met with confrontation and condescension. They appear to be exasperated with even the smallest of concerns and are unwilling to cooperate with their clients on any level. I do not recommend wasting your money with this attorney as he will certainly not put forth any effort in defending you. Whether this is due to apathy or plain incompetence is hard to determine, but frankly Brian does not have your best interests in mind nor does he make an effort to establish an effective defense; he only wants your money so that he can be done with your case as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of receiving a DUI in a county that Brian Polinske works. I'm from out of state so I googled nearby attorneys and this firm came up. After what seemed to be a productive conversation with Brian, I provided him with my tickets that were issued. Since emailing scans of my tickets I did not hear a peep from this firm about anything, not even payment instructions for 17 days. So I took it upon myself to call the firm and ask where my contract was and where to send payment. I left a voicemail for Brian and their paralegal Jenefer who is by far the rudest and most incompetent person I have ever dealt with returned my call. In the discussion I had with her, she had an aggressive attitude and talked down to me. During the call with this office, things were demanded like an office visit and a check for services rendered without providing me with a bill or more importantly a contract. Now if you're an Illinois attorney and dealing with a person from Florida why would you try and demand an office visit? Any why not just ask nicely? Second, anyone who knows anything always gets it in writing. Why can't your office provide me with a bill/contract prior to me sending a large check? Who knows. Brian might be alright but I seriously question the way his office conducts simple business transactions and worse question his judgment for the staff he has under him. Don't ever pay a dime to a law office without something in writing people. Never never never!! I must add that Brian eventually did offer to have Jenefer send me a contract contract prior to cutting a check. However, such contract was only offered after a deadline I set was not met. Such deadline was demanded in an email I sent basically explaining my poor interaction with Jenefer and what I have already written herein. Since opting to go with a different firm and writing this negative review, he has sank to trying to bully me into taking down this bad review with a lawsuit. Apparently a poor review did not prompt him to review his poor office practices.
