Steve Bardol and his team did a great job handling my case. I had an unusual case and he was able to answer every question and concern I had going through this. Even being states away while he took care of this. He made me feel like my case wasn't just another case. He responded to every phone call and email with great urgency. Gave me breakdowns of how my money was being spent on my case. Didn't waste any of my time and was really compassionate about my situation. I can not thank him enough for all he has done for me. My son is my everything. I highly recommend him and his lawfirm. I called a lot of lawyers before I had made my final decision on who I wanted to protect my family. I am beyond blessed to have come across him and his team. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Very kind and helpful team. Mr. Bardol is great and knowledgeable. Thank you Bardol Law!
Steve and his staff at Bardol Law Firm are great! Finding an attorney who is as genuine and makes you feel like a priority, yet professional, practical, and straightforward is nearly impossible, but Bardol Law Firm has all of these great traits and many more. After working with Steve I know I will never use any one else with my family law needs. Steve and his office are great at communicating with you what is going on, they are very prompt, and they go out and get things done that need to be taken care of. I cannot speak more highly of the Bardol Law Firm!

Steve recently helped me with the Petition for Full Custody case I filed over a year and a half ago. I had initially contracted with a different firm and the experience was exhausting and very stressful at a time that was already difficult enough. The process had been prolonged for a long time and my previous lawyer had not made any real progress on the case, promising a lot of things that never materialized. It became very stressful for me and it was a financial burden.
I cannot say enough good things about Steve Bardol and his staff. They were practical and straightforward throughout the entire process. Steve never made impractical promises and was clear with me about the steps forward and what I could expect. I feel very grateful for his work on our case and I would recommend him to anyone. The well-being of my child is the most important thing to me. Steve and his team, Julie and Katy, were concerned, detail oriented and followed through. I cannot ask more from them and will be eternally grateful for their help in this process.

Katie Gannon handled my case from my initial phone call to the closing. She is very professional and listened to my wishes. She approached every decision with my best interest in mind and handled every question I asked with confidence and clarity. I was not worried about her being where I needed her and on time, every time. I highly recommend this firm. Also in the beginning, she told me she would not do unnecessary things to drive my cost up and I believe she absolutely kept her word in those matters. My case was not an ordinary one and it was handled with respect to myself and opposing attorneys and judge. Thank you, Katie and Steve for a reliable service in a very stressful time. Jeff W.

I was referred to Steve by a mutual friend. I have always trusted this friends suggestions, but I feel he missed the mark on this one. I also know that he will not be happy with me for leaving this post. Although I don't blame him one bit, but rather Steve. Steve is not a person anyone would want in their corner. Divorce is such a scary and stressful time. Its a time when you're going to want someone with knowledge and confidence. I'm afraid Steve does not have the later. He may have the knowledge, but getting him to explain it to you is a apparently a privilege and not to be expected despite the fees he charges.
Working with Steve was daunting. He does not explain things or help you feel more comfortable. He did not show for several of the court appearances, but instead sent one of his assistance. If he had given me some notice maybe I would not have been so upset. All I wanted was someone to understand my case the way that I did. This felt very much like being a number. When we met with my wife and her attorney, he let me and her attorney do most of the talking. I felt very alone.
After 9 months into the divorce I spoke with Steve about how I did not feel my case was getting enough attention. He was sending his assistant to court appearances. When I tried to call him it would take a couple weeks and several follow ups to get him on the phone. The worst part, when I told him I didn't think my case was getting enough attention, he said with no hesitation, "I manage a high caseload, you're free to find someone else." Ouch that hurt. If I hadn't given him so much money already, wasn't so desperate to get the divorce over with I would have. We had been "close" to settling for a while and all I wanted was to settle.
I chose him because a friend referred me and he was cheaper, but that was a big mistake. Go with someone that makes you feel confident.

I hired Steve to help with my custody and child support case to which I was getting royaly screwed over by my ex. Steve took control of the case and was on time and professional with each court date (unlike my ex wife's attorney who was supposedly very expensive and caused the court case do drag just to rack up the bill). The end result turned out better than I expected with the situation that I was facing though. I now have partial custody again with my daughters and we communicate regularly, (My ex would not let me see or talk to them at all). The child support was also lowered to a reasonable amount compared to before and backdated to the date when we filed. Steve's hourly rate was pretty reasonable and he worked out a payment plan for the amount that went over the retainer. Steve is very knowledgeable of the court system and will give you a good idea early on of the outcome that you can expect. If I ever have another custody issue I would use Steve again.

If dealing with parental alienation, read on- Steve, as a good attorney, knows how a case will likely turn out. He can most likely call it from the get go, because he is, indeed, sharp. Steve, as a bad attorney, will give you this information after a year in court with no changes and several thousand dollars later along with MUCH emotional toll. He returned some of my fees as a reward for giving up the fight, but in the end, I paid for nothing. My son was a tender 14 when 'dad' remarried and determined to erase my existence in my son's life with a fake narrative, only to get for himself legal permission to eliminate child support. By the way, dad is a multi-millionaire. Steve revealed to me that he wouldn't have many custody battles if it weren't for men remarrying. Dad never tried for custody when there were four minor children! He had vacation 50% of the time. My case was a glaringly obvious case of parental alienation and manipulation of the mind of my son through bribery. Dad did his homework and discovered that odds are judges don't stand behind their 50/50 orders when a child reaches adolescence. He was right. Seems that every one knew this but me. I expected a judge to enforce her orders. So, even though my son was getting in trouble. missing school, getting involved in drugs, vandalizing property, sneaking out at night, all the while dad was violating our child custody agreement on every front, physically and legally. Obviously, he needed his mother! It became increasingly clear to me that every one on my case, including the GAL, ESPECIALLY the GAL, Mark Keisewetter, was biding their time to let my son 'age out'. Mark even gave my son the line, "Who is going to make you do anything you don't want to do?" undermining my parental role. Bottom line, if your case is one of parental alienation, Steve will site it, but won't fight it. But to his defense, good luck finding one who will, because the system won't bother themselves. The pat comfort line is, "He will probably show up on your doorstep one day." In the meantime, you miss the memories, the life lessons you had to teach them and mostly, your child. Yes. An adolescent is still a growing child. Having them choose between parents is brutality and abuse allowed by a system that are working for PROFIT. Plain and simple.

My case was handed to him after my original lawyer left this particular office and i would not recommend Mr.Bardol because instead of any kind of help he dropped my case because i called every day wondering what is going to be done about me seeing my daughter. Now anyone can say they are a great person and I know this, but when it comes to me im a single father, working and going to college pretty much 7 days a week and just want to have my daughter 50 50 like the paperwork from this lawfirm states and was awarded by the supreme court. I absolutely do not get my daughter or get to speak to my daughter on Signed given times agreed by mother, her lawyer and my lawyer (Mr.Bardol) so since I... "Annoyed his firm".. because im a loving father who absolutely loves his little girl and just wants what was agreed upon by everyone in this petition he just up and said "Il no longer be assisting you" and also " Im withdrawing from this case". Please anyone who reads this just know im now paying ANOTHER attorney to help me because mother is absolutely in contempt of our written contract. Hope no one ever has to go through this struggle of actually being in the best way i can a FATHER that just wants to be apart of his angels life.

So happy to be able to move on to the next chapter of my life thanks to Steve and his team. From the first meeting, I felt confident in the firm and their ability to handle my case. Steve was straight-forward and thorough, giving me realistic expectations for the outcome of my case. My emails and phone calls were returned promptly, my questions were always answered clearly, and everything I needed to know throughout the process was communicated to me. They provided just the right amount of information--enough that I always knew and trusted what was going on, but not so much that I became more overwhelmed with an already-stressful situation. Compared to the other firm I met with, Steve's services were also the more affordable option.
Very happy with the outcome of my case and my choice to have Steve represent me. I hope to never need legal services again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call Bardol Law.
