First time I called, I never received a call back. Her answering service does not take good messages. I finally did speak with her, she spent the first five minutes complaining that I gave incorrect and misleading information to her answering service. Once I explained my situation, she was judgy about what I needed her to do and told me that she wouldn't appear in court for us without paying her a ton of extra money, because she felt that I had waited to the last minute. She was wrong about that. I'm sure she will defend herself like she did the other people she treated the same way by saying that she doesn't have records of me being a client and she couldn't be more correct. I smartly chose another lawyer to represent me and my family. The lawyer that I chose says they hear the same experience of how she treats people all the time. Do yourself a favor and look to someone else to represent you.

Lisa is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable bankruptcy attorney, especially when family law issues are involved. She is also very creative in other areas of the law: a number of years ago I had a problem with transferring real estate and when the “experts” couldn’t help me she found an effective and legal way to achieve the result.

After doing some research, I found that Lisa is regarded highly among other attorneys, so I retained Lisa to file Chapter 13 for me. I discovered firsthand that Lisa is extremely knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and tells you how your particular circumstance could be seen by the court and trustee. She wanted to prepare me for any negativity by them. I am disabled and (along with a letter from my doctor) she was able to complete my chapter 13 without my having to make a court appearance. This lady had me crying and feeling horrible. I was trying to explain something and she kept cutting me off calling me pretty much a liar. I have never felt so degraded in my life. I was trying to hire her to do a bankruptcy. I have never ever been through anything like this. So I really need advice, but to make me feel like I was trash and lying to her. Really made me think why is she even in business? I have never even seen a criminal get treated like this from seeking advice. I am still letting this lady effect me. I have cried so many times today. I am scared to even try to talk to another attorney. I don't ever want to feel like this again.
