I would never recommend Kim Tomko to my worst enemy! She is ignorant and one sided! My sister is going through a custody battle so Kim was assigned as the GAL for my nephew and Kim is on my nephews fathers side and trying to make it to where the dad gets full custody meaning my nephew will only get to see his mother and siblings every other week if the judge sides with her! She called my sister a liar when my nephews dad tried running them off the road with HIS son and my other nephew BOTH in my sisters car! There’s so much more I could say but I’ll stop there!

These people will lie, they will twist, they will make things up to get your children. They get promotions and advances, like any other job. They absolutely have quotas to meet if they dont have enough children in the system then their jobs are not necessary.

The family counselor approved by cps is as CORRUPT and dirty as cps is. The child ad litem is corrupt and dirty as cps is. The foster parent appointed by cps is dirty and CORRUPT as cps is. Why? Because they all work together to ruin a great loving mother/parent life for their greedy money desires.

I’m sure it’s no surprise to any of the parents that have dealt with or worse- had their children kidnapped by cps, that they are in fact the biggest liars in life you will ever come across.

Read the reality of what is really happening with the corrupt world of “child protective” Agencies. What we need in America is our rights back as parents, an agency passionate about getting abused kids in loving homes - not an agency who’s priority is money and who abduct innocent children from their families LEGALY. CPS will never ever be your friend, be trustworthy, and is not looking out for the best interest of ANY child, abused or not. Please follow up on other websites that do know the corruption of CPS, and never ask a CPS worker about any advice when it comes to the most Sacred person(s) in your life - your child(ren). Research and SIGN PETITIONS to put a stop to children getting stolen straight from the arms of the people who vowed to NEVER let anyone harm them, US THEIR PARENTS. If all of us don’t come out and speak up about their wrongdoing, it will only get worse every year. Just like any money making businesses, they too always have to beat last years quota.

I would recommend Butler and Tomko. I have found them to be professional and very thorough. Not only do they prepare for one's current situation, but are able to be proactive of what the future may hold.

You know when you go to a law firm to have an appointment with a lawyer and you feel out of place and kinda like you don't belong? Especially if it's your first time having to deal with anything court related... Well, you DON'T feel like with Kim Tomko! She is so down to earth and realistic whenever it comes to any situation. She's on the ball and has even responded to emails on the weekend! WHICH IS A HUGE DEAL TO A CONCERNED PARENT! She always asks how our kids are doing, even the one not involved in her case. Totally refreshing! She genuinely cares and isn't just out to get a check. She will tell you if something is a waste of time or if you have a good chance that it will go through. I would totally go to her with any case and feel comfortable that she has my best interest at heart and would do anything to make sure I get what I need done! I don't understand some of these other "reviews" on here as 2 of them aren't even about this firm or its employees and the other one was admittedly not even a client of the firm or its attorneys. I wanted to say that I have absolutely LOVED working with Kim Tomko. She was incredibly sensitive to my situation and helped me get through one of the toughest times in my life. She is a very knowledgeable and well-spoken attorney. I never felt as though she didn't have time for me or that my case wasn't a priority to her. I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone, and, I do often! I'm sure the other side hasn't liked her but that's what I wanted in my contested situation. She did everything she could to meet my goals and needs.

My ex used Kim for our divorce and we started off non contested but because of Kim's non response and dropping the ball it turned into contested and it took us 14 months to get divorced. We are still waiting for papers we signed a month ago to get turned into the court house but she keeps misplacing stuff and forgets next steps. Horrible experience on both sides and I would highly recommend not using them unless you have lots of cash to burn and lots of time to drag out the resolution.

Unprofessional, Rude and Disrespectful therapist Whose affiliated with The Lincoln County Division of Family Services, Children's Division ( Kim Tomko is my daughter's ad litem) There have been enough FST's, with everyone involved only concerned about what my 16 year old daughter wants and beliefs.
It's been about two years of attempting family reunification, and it didn't happen. As my daughter knows that everyone there supports her wishes and not ours, she continues disrespecting us, betraying us and being distant from us the parents.

My daughter has been now living more than a year in a foster home in St. Charles, Missouri. Actually my daughter shows ZERO (0) interest in having a healthy relationship with me the biological mother and her stepfather. And of course, child support is the most important in this case so they can pay the foster parent for doing our job. The parent job.

My daughter should be in rehabilitation for kids with mental illness and Reactive Attachment Disorder.

For five (5) months my husband and I participated in family counseling with our minor daughter who has many psychiatric disorders and behavioral issues.

The Therapist Nicole Marie McNeil, was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to me and my husband. Nicole works in concert with The Division of Family Service Children's Division, her office located at: 284 Rockport Drive, Troy, Missouri 63379. She was biased and in favor of our minor daughter. She was laser focused on all of the comments, feelings and wishes of our minor daughter.

Nicole never honored our observations, experiences, input or wishes about our minor daughter. She cut us short when we spoke, was very rude and rarely called us by our name. She will quickly say our daughter's name, the foster parent's name, the case workers name and all other people's name from Children's Division.

She insulted us by stating that we only have conditional love for our daughter and we do not understand her psychiatric and behavioral issues. She had the gall to write not one but two (2) letters with hurtful intent to the judge overemphazising her beliefs how bad my husband and I are. This is 100% not true. We do not recommend using Nicole McNeil as a therapist or counselor.

Hard to get returned calls and catch someone at office.
