I am a new Client to the Hollis Law Firm and for the past 3 days I have been calling asking to speak to the attorney handling my case and I get conflicting stories about the person who is to be calling me back, first time the person is on another call and will call me later, the next day I call because I haven't been called back I got told that they were in a meeting and I would DEFINITELY get called back asap, the third day I call again because I haven't been called back I got told that the Paralegal in my case who was to call me back has been out of the office for the past week . . Question? do these people even know where there people are???, I have given then all me medical records and signed their CONTRACT to take my case, I understand it takes time to check into my records about my Cancer caused by a medication but Its been over 2 months since I have herd anything from this Law firm and now they are ducking my calls, The CONTRACT I signed has an addendum that I added stating they would keep me completely informed as to my case at least on a MONTHLY BASIS so Now they are in breach of contract, I have the legal right to help in my own case and they are preventing that by not keeping me informed that's another breach, I have done enough research in my own pro-sea motions in cases I have filed over the years because I don't trust lawyers but this is a case that calls for one. I'm giving them one more chance to get off there BUTTS and "show me the money" so to speak. Then if they don't start abiding by the SIGNED CONTRACT I intend on filing a BREACH OF CONTRACT suit, you know they would do the same if the shoe was on the other foot.. This is not meant as slander it is a review as to my experience with this Law firm and my remedy or recourse in CONTRACT disputes and should not be taken as such.

I had a hernia mesh failure in 2016. I called Hollis and they requested medical records. They informed me they had accepted my case. They asked me to be patient and they would be in touch. I waited several months like a fool with no reply. I called them back several times asking for a callback from a lawyer or paralegal. Nobody ever called me back. Finally the receptionist told me my case was dropped. I never got a letter or an explanation. I feel like a piece of garbage.

I called to see if the firm would help me with a Hernia Mesh lawsuit and while i talked with tbe receptionist she became rude and hung up on me. I cant get the help if the receptionist hangs up. I am a nurse and a professional. I would reccomend if you want help...find another law firm.

I had Hernia Surgery 3 years ago. The mesh that was used failed with 4 months, 2 more incarcerated hernias, pain, nausea ect. Hollis Law Firm requested medical information from me. I filled out the medical information they requested I also sent all my Medical notes, Post and Pre surgery notes, Second opinions, Er Visits....they said they would make copies for me and mail the copies back. Hollis Law Firm accepted my case and I signed a contract agreement with the firm.They would receive 50% of the claim proceeds. Along the way, I received 3 more requests from Hollis Law Firm over the last year. Hollis Law Firm was requesting the same exact information.....with the exception of one question. 3 times they requested same information ,the name of surgeon, date, time of surgery, mesh kind and manufacturer, hospital, previous surgeries ect.
I started to wonder....Why do they need the same information, it appears to me they never got started on my case...if they are asking for the same info over and over again. I expressed my concern and was told that they were working on my case and could not give me a reason why so many requests for the same exact information. I also asked about the copies they were to make and send back to me ....They said they could not find all my medical notes and receipts I sent them....They said they did not have it. Again, they accepted my case and I have been waiting a year....and was told this could take 5 years or so....That is fine I understand. I have serious pain and Hollis Law Firm accepted my case.
Well, After a year, I received a letter from Hollis Law Firm last week that They will not be pursing my case. It is now too late for me to seek another firm because 3 years have passed.....time limit is up to file. They did nothing just sat on this case till it ran out of time....and never filed. I am currently seeking legal advice against this unprofessional Law Firm . I wonder if they are secretly working with the hernia mesh manufacturer. They said in the letter that the circumstances have changed??

I am a new client and I've read up on Hollis Lawfirm and they seem to be very credible and professional. My son found them online and it seems that they have the most knowledge about my condition. I've reached out to them on today and I wasn't able to speak with a attorney
But, I have been assured one would call me back! The young lady that I spoke with was very nice and she listened to me, because I have a severe illness caused by a bad product that was put in me, and that has caused me to now be disabled, I'm in constant PAIN! And it really has ruined my life. I just want to be whole again and not have to take all these medications. I was fine until they put this fealty item inside of me! I have ever single symptom and issue that was described for the bases of reaching out to this law firm. I'm stepping out on faith with them and I PRAY that they are all that and even more than what's described on their website!
Because I need justice to go from being a healthy hard working single Mom of 3 sons to becoming an bed confined woman with very tiny activity. In the mist of all of this I lost my oldest Son! He was 15years old and he drowned on Sunday August 7, 2011 and I was in the hospital from June 20, 2011-August 7,2011 so the day I was discharged I only saw my Son my heart my life! For only 20-30 minutes! And on that Sunday he went to church and my middle son said that his big brother said "I can't wait for momma to get better )
So here I am 6 years later and my condition has only worsened.
