Worst person I have ever spoken to in my life... the few times I actually got to speak with him. He never returns calls and he lies. When I first tried to contact him he told me the property was charging me for damages to their walls and having to repaint. I explained to him that while living there for a year, the half-underground apartment flooded three times with mud!( It would seep through the windows whenever it rained heavily in Kansas City) It cause tons of damages to my property. Each time the property would send maintenance out to clean up and slap some paint over the walls. My apartment eventually developed MOLD! Maintenance again came in and made a mess of my apartment trying to clean up the mold and mud. I told Huelson that when I moved in the walls were already and ugly green and they could not charge me for repaint because I didn't paint them when I moved in! He said he understood and that he would try to contact them ( very nice at this time). I told him of my efforts when trying to reach Peak Capital Management and he even told me he could not ever reach them. Just to get this to all go away I offered to just settle by paying $50. He told me he would reach back out to me once he was able to communicate what I said to the property management team. I was NEVER contacted. I called him at least 5 times in 6 months left messages and never heard from him. When I called him most recently he was rude and standoffish. I explained what he had told me in our prior conversation and he said " I never said that I know how to get a hold of my clients", which is a complete LIE. Then he told me it'll just show up on my credit report which it has. They are trying to get money out of me when really I should be suing them and him!

Does not return any calls

This man does not answer you're calls or emails!! I am trying to pay off my eviction and can't be because this dude doesn't call you or email!!

I have used Don over the years for evictions and collections. He has always been available directly via phone and email, which I do not know how he does it! He is always very responsive and informative. I highly recommend for Property Management Cases.

Have used Huelson Law Firm for over 10 years for eviction and collection efforts with renters. I can always count on Don to ensure the law is followed. He works diligently to provide try and provide solutions that work for all parties (including non-paying renters). At the end of the day, though, if he was hired to evict someone for not paying rent, he will do that. The same is true for collections. If he is hired to collect on a past due balance he will work to do that.

Very rude people. I am a 100% disabled veteran and I was trying to get something taken care of. They were very rude, tried to rush me off the phone while brushing my questions off and he hung up on me. The worst lawfirm I've ever dealt with and I'm still waiting for our business to be done. Pick someone else if you need REAL HELP.

Lied and was enable to contact him and in contact with a real attorney now. Bad practices. Was not following the law. Even with the eviction process. So will be following up with a real lawyer. Not a good person. Tried to work with him but as i thought did not answer phone calls or emails. And now he wants his money. Well, now my attorney will be contacting him. Saved all phone records and emails.

Worst law firm I've ever dealt with. They refused to send me a receipt via email and wanted to charge $25 for an email. Lied to me multiple times and after sending them paid in full, they told me they would send me a receipt via mail and never did and then when i called back said they dont do that and that it would cost $25 to email it. Very rude and hung up on me.
