Overall I was glad to have found his law office. He didn't charge me for the first consultation which a lot of law offices in Manhattan do. This especially was important to me because it said to me he is going to take the time to make sure he can help you before he charges you anything.

I used Mark Stremel for my bankruptcy and I have been very pleased with the amount of help I have received in this process. Mark explained very well what would happen at each step and was a strong advocate for me. I came to his office for help and assistance for my debt situation and bankruptcy was the best solution after going over all options. Mr Stremel answered all questions I had for him. I basically put everything on the table and asked him for help. He was very straight forward and gave me some answers and solutions. If I could give negative stars I would. I paid him to assist with a bankruptcy. Initially I was told a Chapter 7 would work. It somehow didn't and then I paid him to convert it to a Chapter 13. It got thrown out of court and I still have it on my credit history. If he couldn't do the bankruptcy he should have said so from the beginning, but my understanding is that he failed to do the appropriate paperwork. Of course, being a lawyer, he had me sign away any right to file complaint against him so...
