Genuinely kind and trustworthy practice that cares about you as a person and not just a paycheck. Will always be grateful and appreciative of their service.

I have known attorney Theresa Sidebotham for several years as a fellow Christian attorney. I greatly appreciate her sharp mind, tremendous integrity, and enduring thoughtfulness. Her legal expertise and outstanding personal quality make her a great fit for Christian organizational clients as well as individuals seeking legal counsel in missions-related and other legal matters. She and I worked together on a highly sensitive whistleblower matter, and her wise counsel was spot-on throughout.

Our organization has been privileged to work with Telios Law over the past three years, both in resolving existing legal matters and in helping us take proactive steps to improve our policies and procedures. We have found Telios Law to be especially knowledgeable in areas of law pertaining to faith based organizations and ministries, which is particularly important in today’s legal environment. In my interactions with attorney Theresa Sidebotham, I have always found her to be proficient, thorough, prompt and caring. I would be pleased to recommend Telios Law to other organizations and individuals.

Having known Theresa for a number of years but recently having had the opportunity go to trial with her in federal court, I can wholeheartedly recommend Telios Law for any legal needs within their area of expertise. The firm’s research capabilities and legal writing skills are outstanding and match well with their developing trial skills. They function as professionals with the caring concern of a friend.

Telios Law has assisted Mercy Ships with the legal review of formal policies and advice on corporate risk management procedures. Their work has been diligent, thorough, timely and very affordable. I appreciate their generosity in sharing insights and observations which keep us informed of current developments in legal and judicial practice.

Theresa and I have collaborated on several cases, and she is an alternate key person in every trust estate plan that I do. That's how much I trust her wisdom and experience, even though she is not an estate planning lawyer. Her intuition and analysis are almost always right (actually I cannot remember when she was wrong...:-) Her maturity and experience are invaluable. I look forward to every opportunity to work with her and serve clients together.

Ministry Effectiveness
As a former missionary kid and missionary, Theresa Sidebothom of Telios Law brings a vast array of knowledge peculiar to many of the issues that ministry and mission organizations encounter. Not only does the firm bring that knowledge, but I found them highly responsive to questions whether through email or telephone. Telios will engage expertise from other states as necessary to ensure complete examination of applicable laws and statues that may affect current and future decisions. Thanks so much for your help with our questions.

My organization, a missions agency, has worked with Telios Law as we have crafted policies related to international safety/security and child abuse prevention/response. Our legal review by Theresa Sidebotham reflected deep knowledge and understanding of these matters, and will surely protect us from several potential pitfalls. Ms. Sidebotham’s efforts to stay current in litigation and trends in these areas are invaluable to us, as is her willingness to advise mission agencies through Missio Nexus. It is evident that Telios Law is well-networked with experts in several subjects and can readily call on their wisdom and experience when needed. In addition to the quality legal advice, we were also impressed by the timely, excellent customer service we have always received from Telios Law. This firm goes the extra mile and is definitely on our short list of professionals to call anytime we need legal help.

Anytime the services of a lawyer are needed for representation, the prospect of enduring the legal process and then obtaining actual access to justice seems remote. Past experiences with lawyers drained our accounts, and provided little benefit beyond fodder for typical banter at the expense of the legal profession.
In contrast at Telios Law, we always felt our best interests, in a context of integrity, were driving motivators for the excellent service we received. Every step of the legal process was explained including the possible inequities we might face as we fought for justice.
Work to represent us was thorough, and legal strategy wise while not relying on the Machiavellian attributed principle of the ends justifying the means. If only all legal practices operated with such high ethical standards! We were able to rest assured that our own principles of virtue would be mirrored by the practices of this law firm, even if it meant loss of traction in the case, which it did not. Over time truth prevailed, and we were extremely satisfied in the outcome of the legal action we took.
For those who think only ethically-challenged ruthless lawyers win, think again. As the famous New York Times best selling comic book writer and attorney Charles Soule once said, “This might seem impossible to believe, but some lawyers actually like lawyering.” Theresa Sidebotham, founder of Telios Law, fits firmly in that category.
