I interviewed several attorneys and even though Carolyn doesn't claim to be a "Criminal Defense Attorney" she is the one who showed the most confidence so I hired Ms. Kelly to represent me in two misdemeanor criminal cases. I paid her retainer and more as the cases progressed. My money was very well spent. She was relentless in my defense which ultimately led to both cases being dismissed. Right Lynda Baker, your a farce just like her. LOL LOL LOL I hired her a few years ago and every time I called or visited the office there was someone new working for her. She was never ontime for anything, ever! She never returned my calls, didn't inform me of a court date, which I missed then wanted mt to pay her another $2,500.00 after I had already paid her $5,000.00. I finally fired her and hired another attorney and was told by his staff that she has a terrible reputation in town and among the judges and magistrates in El Paso County. She is evil, wicked, mean and nasty.

I have worked in different capacities for Carolyn Kelly. I have been her process server, investigator, and paralegal over the past 15 years. I have never had any problems getting paid. Right now I am doing her bookkeeping and process service. I am always paid on time, in full, as agreed. I have seen results of her work in my years of working with her. Carolyn gets awesome results but sometimes it is before being paid in full. Some clients want to come up with reasons to not pay her once the case is over. Based on my personal observation and experience, I recommend Carolyn highly.

I hired her a few months ago to get help she told me that she would help me for a low cost of 5000 dollars. I paid her 3000 up front and she did nothing for me. she Filed some papers stating she was taking the case and told me no offence but she had more important cases on her plate so if I did not hear from her right away not to worry. I didnt. I sent her all of my info and it took her awhile to do anything. She is very forgetfull you tell her something and she will ask you again ten times. She is also very unprofessional my first metting with her she was an hour and a half late. I also drove 2 hours up there for a cour hearing that was canceled that she forgot to tell me about. I had recent brain surgery and I am fighting for the custody of my child I also support 2 other children and my grandmother that is ill. I cant work at the moment because of this although I am employed I have not been released to work therfor my income is not very much. I paid her 800 dollars and then another 400 the next day she got the 400 she called me saying it was not enough and I needed to pay her more. Still wondering where the money is going because all that has happend is a 2 hour mediation hearing where nothing happend. She has called me about 10 times a day knowing very well I am trying to recover and harassed me for money. She has also called my mother and grandmother that is very ill asking for money and trying to contact me. She also mailed me out a very nasty letter because I was not able to get her the amount of money she wanted. You cant speak without being inturupted. She is Always LATE always. and instead of waiting and getting little payments over a course of a few months until November when my final orders is she withdrew from my case leaving me with no attorney. It would be nice to find an attorney that cared about the famlies and their futures because if they were in the same situation they would want someone to help them. All I asked for was some time to pay I have been stressing and frantically trying to come up with money and I am still not sure where what I gave her went since she has not done anything. The final call she gave me she said that she could not carry me anymore and that she needed to withdraw from my case. I was even waiting for my tax check to come in so I could give her that not good enough I have children and a family to feed as well trying to recover try and show a little compassion but yet again it is all about the money. I make 9 an hour when I ws working she makes like 250 an hour I think you will be ok. All I can say about this attorney if you are planning on hiring her is run far away and save your money and heartache because all she is, is a money hungry person waiting to screw the next client that comes in her office.
