I am giving one star because Jared needs a class in customer service, and how to speak with people over the phone. First impressions are everything, be it over the phone or in person. One must always be aware of how they make their customer/client feels. He was just rude, he could have been having a bad day, but that is not how you operate.

I read ALL of these reviews before going to the office so that I would know what to expect. I've come to the conclusion that I must have went to the wrong office. These were some of the kindest and most professional people I've ever met. Not one employee passed me without speaking or asking about my day. They explained the process and was very patient.

VERY slow, rude, and poor customer service ALL AROUND. None of there employees (on 2nd Floor) act like they even casre about there job, let alone you or ANY HINT of customer service.

I have NEVER, IN MY 50 YEARS, SEEN SUCH POOR SERVICE AT AN ATTORNEYS OFFICE!

If you go in to make a payment, you could be there over an hour. Once, I was there with ONLY one other person and we were BOTH making payments to two of there employees at the same time, via cash. Why does it take them 15 minutes to write a receipt! I was even being helped by there manager (according to another employee).Yet, she acted like she wanted to be anywhere BUT WORK.

If the steps leading to the front entrance aren't BAD ENOUGH, the staircase leading to the "help desk" are enough , the long, steep stairs will rob u of strength, and cause excruciating pain, lasting several days.
Each visit, as i leave , n pain, the downstairs desk attendant calls after me, as i holler over my shoulder, " y'all have a WONDERFUL day....THEY TELL ME, NEXT TIME, LET US KNOW: we can have them meet u n lobby, to handle ur affairs...!!!
Freakin shame: that option is not available until the pain & damage is done...

If you are coming here chances are you are not doing so because you want to but I will say over all the staff was helpful and accommodating. My biggest complaint is the limited and antiquated way to make payments. You must mail a money order in monthly. There are no options to pay over the phone or online or by credit card.

Recurrent rudeness. Toxic. They speak over you & hang the phone on you: a reflection work culture. Sam Walton summed it up nicely: "The way management treats the associates is exactly how the associates will treat customers." Still, "Hurt people hurt people." This is my second time dealing with this office. The woman I spoke to today was extremely inconsiderate, disregarding of my concern, and would not listen to me as I asked questions to further help me understand my options. She was rude and to a degree ignorant of the information I needed. She simply did not care about trying to help someone work through trying to find a solution to the issue at hand. This is NOT the way to treat the general public and speaks volumes of this woman's character and disposition towards helping people. I hope she learns empathy and patience.

These people are the bottom of the customer service barrel. They lack the basic skills to handle a call let alone have a descent conversation without the hostility. Obviously they hate their jobs but you signed for it. HA ha...Zero stars!!!

No pay by phone, no pay by website, have to go in person. Not open weekends or evenings. Totally inconvenient. Have to pay for street parking. Extortion. This shouldn't even be legal.

I don't like this office all the people are rude, thank God I don't live un VA . I call 3 time the first lady she said my name I not in the systems, the second lady turn off the call, and the last lady she said I don't do the payment because my husband is not with me because the credit card is not in my name, Hello ALL THE TIME I DO THE PAYMENT , AND NEVER HE IS WITH MY. I PRESS ONE STAR BECAUSE I NEED TO, FOR MY ZERO STAR.

This firm served a summons to an address I hadn't lived at for almost a year but the person serving confirmed someone signed for it. It wasn't me or anyone in my family. So that was wrong to begin with, and then a year later I get a garnishment sent to my job which I also never received the summons for because it went to the old address. I went to the county clerks office to get information and was advised if I could prove I did not reside at that address at the time it was served that was an issue and they gave false confirmation of me being served. Of course the initial date set they weren't able to make it so the court rescheduled for a time I will not even be in the state due my work. Don't get me wrong I don't argue the debt...minus the additional ridiculous fees added by this firm, I do however am angry that I was not given the chance to attend the initial court hearing to handle it before it go to the garnishment. its sad that law firms can tape a summons on a door and walk away and not know who is getting it the right or wrong person. if I could have given them -10 stars I would have.

Words can not express how infuriated I am with this sorry excuse of a company . This is the most unprofessional business establishment I have ever come in contact with in my entire existence on this planet. I work in Customer Service as a Profession and I am mortified in how this company is represented all together. I am more than certain that this company is staffed with people that do not have a GED let alone a Highschool Diploma. Any company can hire a bunch of ill- mannered Bullies and call them a staff and obviously that is what Parrish and Lebar has done. I am going to make sure that I speak in detail with our newly elect Mayor and see if he can do something about this one company that has a monopoly on this business. I have never ever been spoken to in the manner in which these ignorant people spoke to me and the sad thing is, it is across the Gender line...I spoke with three different people and just when I saw a glimmer of hope, the last person did the same exact thing. At this point I don't even want to go down there and make a payment because I am literally fearful of losing my cool if I had an opportunity to see either of them face to face. Shame on you as a Business and Shame on you for how you treat people that have no other choice but to deal with your so call establishment.

IF I HAD A WAY TO NOT PUT ANY STARS I WOULD. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL. THEIR INTEREST RATES ARE THRU THE ROOF AND EVERY TIME YOU CALL TO FIND OUT YOUR BALANCE IT'S A DIFFERENT STORY. THEY GARNISH YOU WITH NO NOTIFICATION THEN ACT AS IF YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM WHEN YOU ASK QUESTIONS.

If I could give no stars I would. This company buys medical debt and charges interest in excess of 20%. They lose payments or simply do not account for them. They refuse to send statements, and the customer service representatives lack all sense of professionalism. I have been called hostile, fussy or loud simply when requesting basic information. There is no recourse because "we have no management that you can speak to" is the only answer you receive when you attempt to resolve any issues without a customer rep.
