This firm is awful. They never returned my calls, I was told I would have a meeting on October 17th and never heard back from them. I had to email the paralegal, when I did, IN JANUARY...I got "Mr. Owens is busy with a client in California....Don't call us, we will call you" He charged me for delivering MY OWN DIVORCE PAPERS to the courthouse...His lack of timeliness lost me a lot of money in my personal injury case. He didn't care, because I wasn't "a big fish" His paralegal told me that I needed to get released from my doctor in order to get my settlement...they took so long that when they asked my doctor to testify, he wouldn't, cause it had been too long. The last thing I would like to mention is that my case was set to go to trial. IT WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE LAST POSSIBLE DAY BEFORE THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS WENT INTO EFFECT. The mistakes made in my divorce was unbelievable. I sent him and his paralegal a very descriptive email. They wrote it as the polar opposite of what I instructed. THEN CHARGED ME! I had to REFILE MY DIVORCE!! It was ridiculous! This firm, this lawyer, his paralegal...all ridiculous! Not your average U of R grad....treats you terribly...very passive with insurance companies and dismissive with clients, especially if he doesnt think he can make any money from your case. Heed my warning! Do not use this firm.
