"INJUNCTION" Melissa, please take note of this very important word. My ex wife did a number of things to me at my business which I described to you in detail and you did NOTHING ! At the time I didn't know what an injunction was but after meeting with countless other lawyers I've been asked why you didn't call for this??? I have my thoughts on the matter but I will focus on what you should have done in my case and provide some helpful words for other readers here. An injunction is a judicial order that restrains a person from beginning or continuing an action "threatening or invading" the legal right of another. This is what should have taken place if Melissa Ritter would have done her job. An injunction is something that takes place when a spouse does things like stops paying mortgage on a home that is jointly owned forcing the other spouse to come up with the ENTIRE mortgage by themselves. Wait! There is much more... An injunction is when a spouse locks the other spouse out of joint bank accounts preventing one from viewing the money being stolen from the accounts. We are just getting started... An injunction could prevent cases of intrusion like if a spouse hijacks email accounts without permission. I'll give a couple of other examples of an injunction. Let's say the couple jointly own a business in the service industry and one of the spouses threatens to cancel customers on their spouses schedule(especially proof of text). Also, an easy one that any judge would see is inappropriate is when a spouse keeps all tax documents from viewing and does taxes incorrectly like hiding cash payments from a business(devaluing the business so that their spouse can't see how much a business is worth when doing an appraisal). Yes, it's a year later and I'm still trying to get my taxes from this horrible monster! Last, an injunction is justified when a spouse makes verbal threats as to sabotage a business or reputation even worse a personal threat. My ex wife had/has mental health issues from 2 traumatic events that happened in her life. She still sees therapists to help her deal with her issues. Unfortunately for me, I was caught up in her mental health decisions where you could have stepped in and did the right thing.
I just wanted you to know Melissa that it has been just over a year since this has taken place to me and not a minute goes by that I'm overwhelmed with grief. It's almost 5am in the morning and I haven't slept a wink because this still plagues me that YOU caused me to lose everything in a divorce that didn't even go to court. After my ex wife did all of those things to me on a daily basis, there was only so much that I could have taken...
I hope others read this so that they can find a suitable attorney for themselves and can use this helpful information if their spouse is attempting to do any of this to them. There are other reviews out there on this business. Please do your research well as I was told about this lawyer for a much simpler divorce case that had 2 people that actually tried to be equal and fair. I will never forgive you for what you have done and you will never know what you did to change my life. I haven't had a day off work in over 6 months because of your representation while my ex is enjoying a lavish lifestyle travelling and spending what I worked so hard for.
