There is something very wrong in this firm. No follow up, don’t return calls and treat clients poorly. Went with a colleague and was shocked at the unprofessional behavior. Who shows up at their clients deposition in a Hawaiian shirt and flip flops?!?

I contacted Frank Jenkins office after moving here a couple years ago. Once my paperwork was completed, Sylvia kept in contact with me. 9 times out of 10, I’d email her with questions and it seemed like I had just hit send and she was already responding. Everyone in the office was very helpful at all times. Frank was the nicest down to earth guy. Not your typical attorney. I’d recommend their firm to anyone!!! They did a great job and got my social security approved.

Although I got a settlement from an auto accident, I would likely not work with this firm again. We live out of town and had been transferred to this firm. My settlement check along with about 6 or 7 other pieces of paper were jammed into a #10 envelope and sent to me for signatures. When I went to deposit my settlement check the perforated line of the check had been folded in postage and tore some of the routing numbers off of the check. I contacted the paralegal I was working with and was informed to rip up the check and that I would be issued a new one. She failed to inform me that my new check would be for less money after they assessed me a stop payment fee on the check that THEY folded incorrectly. It seems that after they get 1/3 of your settlement, they couldn't cover the cost of their own mistake. I would not contact them for any further business.

I got hurt at work 2 1/2 years ago. I called Frank Jenkins office, from the first moment I walked into his office I felt the compassion that I was seeking. I had many obsactoles to over come and all the staff especially Amy was more the happy to endure them with me. I had many questions and concerns and there was never a moment that I felt like I was getting on any of the staff's nerves. Amy and Frank Jenkins listened to me cry, weep, get angry and feel defeated, but always reassured me that I was on the right path. I finally got my disability after a judge got to hear from me. The worst customer service ever! Initial call on 02/23/18, I was put on hold by Nick for 8 minutes and no one came back on the line.

Called back a few minutes later, the exact same telephone # and spoke to a lady, who introduced herself as Fonda (may not have the exact spelling) who said she was a as legal intake specialist, she took my detailed information which included the type of case I had, she put me on hold to ask an attorney if they did handle my type of case and they said they did. The entire conversation lasted 20-minutes, and told me someone would call me back on Monday, 2 business days later.

03/01/18, one week passed and no one called back. I called this firm back for the third time on 03/01/18 and spoke to Karen. Karen said they had no one by the name of Fonda working for them and they didn't even have my 20-minute telephone conversation in their computer. She thought maybe I had called after normal business hours and I spoke to the answering service, but I assured her I called at 10:24AM and the previous person even gave me their position in the company. Why would an answering service stay on the line with me for 20-minutes listening to my situation! After taking all my information again, Karen assured me someone would call me back that day and apologized for what happened previously, both with Nick not coming back on the line and the mysterious Fonda. Karen said the firm wanted my business. Again, I explained what type of case I had and he insurance company name I was dealing with and Karen said they did handle that type of case at their office.

I called back the firm on 03/05/18 because again, I had not heard from anyone. Nick answered the phone, I explained my frustration of not getting a call back after 10 days and 3 phone calls to them already. Nick said they had no one by the name of Fonda at their firm and that maybe I had called after normal business hours. He said they had already referred me to another law firm as they did not handle this type of case! HUH, who was he talking to? I informed Nick no one ever told me about any other firm nor gave me any information regarding that or anything else. It was obvious Nick did not want to listen to me complain about their failure to handle this situation properly or about their poor customer service and he started to get a little "cocky" telling me "Well, I'm giving you the information now". And telling me about their huge case load of 400 clients and how they do not do this to their clients. Well, you did it to me before I even became a client. Why didn't someone tell me they had so much business that they cannot return phone calls or take down information properly in the beginning, I would have contacted another attorney 10 days ago and not had to deal with such incompetent people or with Nick's attitude, treating me as I was some fool on the line who didn't know who she had spoken to.

Glad they were will not be representing me, I would be afraid that they would not be able to remember me again nor what they were representing me for.

By the way, my friend who referred me to this firm, had the same problem about no one calling her back and she found another attorney to handle her case, one that returns phone calls and does not try to pass their errors off to someone else.

I retained their services and they accepted. Then I get a letter letting me know I do not have enough credits. I called them with letter in hand from SSI dated today explaining that I do have enough credits. The female lawyer argued with me and I told her that I didn’t want to use them anymore, she then just hung up. She was very hateful from the get go. I suffer with cPTSD and PNES due to this. The stress of this experience has made things so much worse. I’m loosing all faith in our system, seems like it only helps people who don’t really need the help. You have to be quick thinking and manipulative to get disability. Those of us who struggle and are truly disabled cannot fight them.

Thought I was thankfull until I got lied to about when Frank Jenkins would be in to release my settlement check. In six days of telling me my amount they took over 1,000 from me. Lowering my amount to less then half of my total settlement.Never told me a head of "Time" my pip insurance was expired, so when I went to physical therapy it was coming out of my settlement. I would not be referring any one here. Have a blessed day.

So far my experience has been wonderful! My case is ongoing but I'm being treated with respect and it seems that they take a heartfelt interest in my case and well being!

I would give zero stars if it let me.. Please do not use this law office for any workers compensation claims. Wasted three weeks of my time and energy after taking my case, just to drop me before anything useful was actually done. I got notified by the insurance company rather than being notified by their office. I was then told by email that Frank had reviewed my case, three weeks after agreeing to take the case, and didn't believe I had one. The recorded statement was requested by the insurance company and that was scheduled and rescheduled by this office multiple times due to conflicts with their own schedule. My questions were unanswered and ignored on multiple occasions. Sylvia, the case worker, did not follow up in a timely manner and did not seem to have knowledge about workers compensation and how to advise on how to complete paperwork. So now I will have to start from scratch three weeks in to being off work for my injury. These people do not truly care for the person they are representing. Seems that maybe they werent going to get a big enough payout to be worth the time. But they didn't even have enough information to determine that.

Frank Jenkins Law just won my Social Security Disability case at the hearing level. It was such a long process but they walked me through the entire case and kept me well informed of what to expect at each level. The entire staff was extremely nice and great to work with. Would not ever refer him to anyone! They will not return calls and after telling me there are no upfront costs they ask for $600. While other clients didn't have to pay this upfront but took it out of their settlement. When I tried to talk to Sylvia about the issue, she refused to take my call then dropped me as a client. I have known Frank for over 30 years. He has always been hard-working and down to earth. I know he works very hard for his clients and fights for them. I definitely recommend Frank!

Dont want to go into detail but lets just say this. We get a whopping 50 bucks a week from workers comp accident where the employer makes 180 million a year. Put that into perspective and your law firmed failed us. The loved one i have still is not the same and in pain everyday and i have to suffer as well. Was fed pipe dreams and when it came time to deliver i felt like you company layed down on us to get it over with cause you knew something we did not. Thanks for nothing.

This law office was a very pleasant adventure. I didn't have to stress over anything. They took control and kept me updated on everything. Work for me for over one year, finally got the money. I never saw Mr. Frank Jenkins, only saw 3 different newbie attorneys who they hired by hour from outside when needed.
In final mediation, before talking to other side, Frank's assitant and newbie attorney told me I would got at least $20k since all evidence are good to me. Then other side give number $12k. What make me supprise is Frank's assitant and newbie attorney started to push me to accept the offer. They said if I did not accdept it and goto the court, I would get nothing. They totally help meditator and other side. When I asked them about $20k which they told me one hour ago, they said that is max amount.
The contract between Frank attorney and I shows the fee they will charge is 33% of settlement amount. But finally, they add a big amount of document fee above 33%. I finall got 55%, they got 45%.
So, be caution to this law office.

This law firm WILL NOT accommodate Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.

(1) I called them to request legal assistance and spoke with an individual by the name of Amy Jones. She called back and informed me that Mr. Jenkins would accept our case, then asked my domestic partner and myself to come in that following Monday to sign our contract.

(2) I informed them the need of a sign language interpreter, Ms. Jones contacted Sign Language Network of Kentucky and learned that there would be a cost.

(3) Ms. Jones contacted us back and asked me if I would bring in my domestic partner with me to interpret. I said no since it was a legal matter and Kentucky has a licensure law plus it was required under Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Apparently, that hiring an interpreter was a problem.

(4) A few days later, we received a letter from Jenkins Law Firm that he was dropping us as a client and encouraged us to seek another attorney.

Mr. Jenkins VIOLATED the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by wielding his legal powers to avoid to hire a sign language interpreter.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT CATER TO BUSINESSES THAT DISCRIMINATE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES.

Promised me things they couldn't deliver. When I got upset, they told me they would refuse to represent me. Never had a worse experience with a lawyer.
