The worse. They have been stealing my money since 2009. They bought my account from Citibank. I owed over 3,000. They had several levies placed on my account through the years and were able to take no more than 400 each time since it was on an account I used to pay utilities.

When I tried to reach them to make arrangements they would tell me to call them back for months. Their greed wanted the highest amount. Years later after realizing they can't take any more money for me and me making many attempts to pay payments. They finally agreed for me to pay them 50.00 bucks monthly until the debt is paid.

They are garbage, straight slime in how they go about things.

I've read all the reviews and spoke to two people today and the jury's out because I've made a couple payments and I talked to one girl and she said they have nothing on me and I talk to a manager or supervisor and they said they just got the folder last week so I don't know if this is the original company that they sent me to and thank God I didn't pay him off because I was going to if they don't know what they're doing they ain't getting a penny and I'm willing to pay it all off.

All of the reviews listed here are true. I can't even believe I'm being forced to deal with them. I've spoken with them on so many occasions I've lost count and even after setting up arrangements for payment every month I received court action notices and a levy on my account shortly after. Then the money that was taken was held for 6 months but I was unable to make payments with them to continue paying the account. I just got off the phone with them 5 minutes ago for the hundredth time about settlement options and of course they refuse to assist. I've been out of work for 10 almost 11 months due to a bad car accident and they could care less about ruining people's lives and credit when they are ACTIVELY trying to sort things out. I had arrangements prior to my accounts being taken over by them and ever since the change it's been hell and stress dealing with them.

Sloppy liars. The whole lot of them. Awful company. I wouldn't trust them to handle a fix it ticket.

Typical scum bag penny attorneys! Unprofessional and don’t know what their doing, overall not the brightest, blood sucking, scum. They had my name wrong and wouldn’t give information even with a case number! They are trying to collect on a debt that was paid and was taken to court and has a judge’s ruling in my favor attached to it!
Although they should have the documents and can get them from the court, they asked me to do it? Oh yeah? I’m countersuing them for harassment, they can review my documents when I serve them. If anyone here wants to join in for a class action, contact me by sending a compliment. They shouldn’t be in business.

Do not pay these people. They sent me a FRAUDULENT document (literally fake form), supposedly from the Superior Court of California, saying I was being sued by a creditor. I knew it was not correct because I had paid the card off in 2013. I called the credit card company and they verified that the account was paid in full in 2013. I am going to try to report them to The California State Bar.

I received a notice from them that I owe over $3000 to a department store credit card which I never use. When I called them, first they had my name misspelled and they couldn’t lookup my account using the reference number on the letter or using my correct last name or my incorrect last name on the letter. The letter contained grammatical errors and the settlement was blank. They asked for my SS #, which I refused to give. I told them that this letter cannot come from an attorney’s office and it could be fake but they didn’t seem interested in entertaining that idea. The letter is full of codes and references to IRS to scare people into giving in to their demands.

This place attached my pay and after all was said and done they said that I owed them more money. This company is a fraud. I have never dealt with a company like this Ever.

They work under the radar and break the laws of the Statute of Limitations.
They will get a judgment against you and take advantage of your situation.
They have illegally taken my Veterans Disability funds from the bank and illegal Bank Levy. I am still trying to get it back.

I do not recommend actually trying to work with Hunt and Henriques. I made the mistake of trying to work with them in good faith, and it came back to bite me in the ass. It turns out that even two weeks after setting up a payment plan with the firm, even after making an actual payment, they're still serving me with court papers and telling me that the lawsuit is still active. Apparently it was only placed "on hold", according to them in a phone call, and at any time, even if I make all of my payments, they can bring the hammer down on me and request a formal default judgement. This is not how any reasonable company should act, and I recommend, if you do get served with a lawsuit by Hunt and Henriques, to lawyer up rather than even consider contacting them. Terrible.

Hunt & Henriques are the bottom feeding scumbags of this earth: they operate unethically, lie and steal (attempted unsuccessfully in my case), and use average person's lack of knowledge to legally rob them. The worst law firm in Bay Area, they don't deserve to stay in business!
