Mr. Milam is amazing. I was denied 2 times in CO, one by an ALJ because my psychiatrist lied on my records. I had an accident 4 months after we moved here and he took on my case which was extremely complicated. My case was approved in a month! The ALJ gave us more time to get documentation and the turn around was a month.

I can not say thank you enough to Milam Law. They have been fighting my case now for several years and we finally won. They have all been nothing but honest, professional, and hard working. They always kept me informed of what was going on. I got my approval letter today and they were my first call. I couldn’t have done it without them. Mr. Jeff is a BLESSING a true BLESSING! I’ve been sick with congestive heart failure for 14 years now, I previously was able to get social security disability benefits until i was re-evaluated (my condition improved a tad) at that time they denied my benefits I fought and got paid during appeals process with no luck. I went and worked I did what I was able to do to support my son. I fell ill again a few years ago, applied for social security got denied, I hired Jeff even though he knew I wouldn’t get a dime of my back pay if we won he took the case anyways! God Bless him! Attorney Milam and his staff have really gone to bat for me over a case that is 6 years old and the Appeals Counsel is trying hard to kill. They have stayed on top of this and been very aggressive. The Milam office helped me win my case with SSI for a disability claim. Their office was referred to me by a contractor I happened to meet after my accident. He indicated that Milam helped his wife win her case. It took over three years for me to obtain a favorable decision on my claim, however if you are patient and listen to them you will have the best chance at winning your case. It is a long road and there is not a lot contact it seems along the way. However, this is how the process works. They are experts in what they do! You need to have confidence in them and provide them with as much documentation as necessary concerning new developments on your case. I only met Mr. Milam on the day of the case, although I worked closely with his office staff the years that proceeded the court date. He is very professional and was very helpful to me on the day of my court appearance. The Milam office specializes in these types of cases and I would highly recommend hiring a professional instead of trying to do it yourself or having an attorney that does not . They know what it takes to help you win your claim! The staff is superb and very understanding, helpful, and professional.

Jeffrey Milam was my attorney for my SSI case. This guy will harm your claim He raised his voice to me in front of the judge. He is arrogant and haughty. I lost my case. You would be better off doing your case on your own. This guy lacks people skills.

Milam Law offices are horrible to work with. He did not meet with me until 5 minutes before my court date in front of the judge. I did all paperwork and online work myself. He promised to take it further to federal court and then bailed on me. During the time he had my case (3 years) he had lots of personal issues which took him away from work. I am very sympathetic to people and problems, but this was the worst experience I have ever had with an attorney. No other words to describe, " Jeffrey Milam sucks!"
