I reached out to Paul Nathan on a Friday afternoon in a pinch based on recommendation from a mutual friend. Within an about an hour, Paul called me to follow up my online inquiry. He initially spoke with me on the phone at length and gave me great advice about an upcoming hearing. Then, he worked with me on a Sunday with no notice to help me prepare for an emergency hearing I had the next Monday. Paul is a level headed, experienced, and strong advocate. I was very impressed with him and am very grateful for his help. I highly recommend Paul to anyone seeking legal counsel.

Paul's advice and counsel was so helpful, it changed the direction and success of my case. He is pragmatic, honest, and smarter than the rest of the pack in family law. Paul is a great combination of IQ and EQ which means he can combine his legal knowledge and experience with his understanding of the the psychology behind his clients AND his clients' counterparts, so he a can get the best outcome for you. What's not obvious to you as you go through a divorce is obvious to him, and he's able and willing to share it and use it to get your case completed with the best possible outcome. I really appreciate Paul's help.

I was involved in a 3 car accident in 2017 where my girlfriend and friend whom were riding in the car were also injured. Broken bones, spinal injury, and internal bleeding, and face all jacked up. the case is very complicated. I googled several personal injury attorneys and met with 6 of them to discuss my case. Every single one of them had 4.5+ stars with aggressive advertising, but the process to sign on was convoluted and the lawyers were quick to get me off the phone and did not want to give me a proper consultation.
I asked my mechanic for a referral and he gave me Paul’s number. Paul spent a significant amount of time going over the case with me and outlined my options. Eventually me, my girlfriend, and my friend all signed on to have Paul represent us. The other party tried some shady tactics and also tried to get us to settle for a lot less. Paul took care of all of it.
Remember, your health insurance is entitled to 33%-50% of your payout (subrogation). But there are ways around that. Paul advised us to be patient and let him work his magic.
2 years later we have settled and it was the best decision we ever made. We got more money than Paul had originally projected and will be recommending him to everyone. My girlfriend whom is my fiancee now will probably use him as a divorce attorney later on down the line (Paul represents only women in divorces). I am dreading that day.

I waited for the follow-up email from Mr. Nathan after my initial meeting, but it never arrived. He is pleasant but did not keep his word and kept me waiting.
ANSWER TO MR. Nathan’s statements: It is ridiculous to even fathom that any attorney will do work for free. This is a completely untruthful statement! I called your office, after four phone calls I had made before, to follow-up on the promise you had made to draft an email with the “next steps to take on my case.” It is just terrible to see that you would fabricate statements I never made and create words that you never stated to me while denying promises you made. I spoke to your Paralegal who proceeded to ask me “..what did he promise you, do you remember?” I answered her question and told her I might have another potential case because I thought that would perhaps prompt you to call or write me back with the information you had promised me you would send after the 4th of July holiday regarding my case. It is devastating to see that an attorney would so easily invent statements and questions that were NEVER asked nor discussed. I caution everyone to read these exchanges between Mr. Nathan and I and consider all of this when making a decision to hire Mr. Nathan. I had left a positive review originally , at Mr. Nathan’s request, and because he was so amiable and sounded competent and as if he wanted to help me. However, I now see dishonest behavior on his part and it is extremely disheartening to see that someone who is supposed to be honest and truthful can so easily misrepresent and manipulate words and situations so shamelessly. Mr. Nathan just because you have learned to manipula words and situations, it does not give you the right to smear someone’s word and integrity because you do not like to hear the truth. I now realize why you asked me for a positive review after someone left you a negative one. I should have taken notice of that. May God forgive you for trying to smear someone’s integrity in such a low manner.

6 fig payout, car accident
Paul Nathan is one of the better attorneys around. The other google complaints are pretty stupid. Heres my story:
I called the office and spoke with Mandy, the paralegal. Mandy took detailed notes, forwarded it to Paul, and I got a call back from Paul the next day to further discuss my case. He then told me clearly and concisely what my next steps were, including if I wanted to get a second opinion and what I needed to do to build my case .
A couple days later after I had followed his steps, we met in his SF office. He went over the case in detail with me, was prepped and gave relevant statistics that gave me confidence in how to pursue the case. After all you are here to sue for money or to protect yourself or both.
I elected to hire Paul as my attorney. 6 fig payout. He more than earned his pay.
