This morning I had a very distasteful and very unprofessional experience with this law firm. I sent in my resume three months ago and I received a call about an interview on June 19th. No one called back to set me up a time and date to come in. I went to the law firm this morning around 9:30. And the woman who I now know is Mrs. Harvey was out of this world rude and disrespectful. I greeted everyone with a good morning and asked how they were doing, that led on to me asking if Mr. Harvey were in and Mrs. Harvey stated he wasn't and asked if she could help me. I informed her I was here following up on a interview when I said that she went ballistic... Stated I told you that he would call you back for a interview and you being very confrontational. Be mindful I called on June 27th to ask about my time and date because I hadn't heard anything from no one. And this same woman Mrs. Harvey was rude and disrespectful over the phone as well. Telling me then that I should have never missed my first interview and someone told her I had to many complications so on and so forth. I tried to inform her that, that information was incorrect and it may have been a miscommunication on her end but I was looking forward to this particular interview. Long story short Mrs. Harvey state that I act like they owed me a interview like they owed me something period... I nicely told her that I was called back for a interview and I wanted to clear my face and name because the miscommunication about me being too complicated may have hindered me. The woman Ms. Patricia who I had been speaking with every time I called to check on my resume was there this morning. And I asked Ms. Patricia if she relayed the message that I had to many complications as to why I couldn't come in because that's what Mrs. Harvey stated over phone. Ms. Patricia stated that she did not say that and Mrs. Harvey got bent out of shape once again. She threaten to call 911 for what reason I'm not sure. Clearly I'm a young black woman who's trying to better herself and I went in checking on a job that I have been very consistent with over the last three months. And to finally get a call for a interview that I was looking forward to. Only for a black woman to tell me I think someone owe me that. I practically called if not everyday every other day and every other week up until the day I receive my call for a interview. But I know that it's always other opportunities and I wouldn't want to work with no one in this nature anyway. The unprofessionalism was and is at a all time HIGH at this law firm and for the Attorney himself not to be in office gives him a very bad look.
