Very helpful, respectful, and always available and on top of things! Specifically we had tried to file for bankruptcy ourselves, which wouldn't have been very costly, but they kept needing more and different things filled out. They actually needed us to fill out certain scheduled forms even though they didn't apply to us at all. We failed to finish it in time but John Henderson Law only had us fill out what was absolutely necessary and they handled the rest. They probably saved us a total of 20 hours of figuring out paperwork and another however many hours between 5 different phone calls. Best part is that my wife's work had benefits that he accepted which made the cost much, much lower.

Every time I tried speaking to John he always spoke to me like a robot, I never felt like he was listening well and he never seemed compassionate. I was just another paycheck. He found out 2 weeks before my appt with him that he could not take my case. Instead of calling me or having his assistant call me to let me know, he waited the 2 weeks for me to make the 2.5 hr drive to his office so I could wait on him an additional hour just to tell me he couldn't take it. Not only did I waist an entire day of my time for what could have should have been done with a phone call, I am now 2 weeks behind and have to start my process of finding a lawyer on VERY short notice and try to move everything along at a rapid pace. I was not impressed with Mr. Henderson at all, in fact I am infuriated with how he handled me as a client.

If you want a hand-holding, compassionate partner to handle your legal issue, John is not your man.
If you want a firm to focus on your need and clear up any obstacles to get your needs met, then John and his staff are the best.
