The police and DA, with their lack of cultural competency, completely misunderstood the indecent they encountered and over-filed charges that could have imprisoned innocent people for life. Due to the grave implications of this case, my family sought the counsel of one of Monterey County’s most esteemed criminal defense attorneys. However, since the case involved multiple defendants, he could not represent all parties involved and recommended that we added Jevin Hernandez to the defense team. Sincerely, this was one of the best decisions we made during the difficult and anxiety ridden process.
