For close to 7 years, I've had a speeding ticket from Kinston County, NC that I could not take care of. As an out of state resident, they demanded that I either come to the court and 'handle it on my own', or hire an attorney to do so for me. After multiple attempts, several judgmental and downright condescending law secretaries and attorneys who scoffed at my predicament, I happened upon Roy Dawson - and he literally changed my life. For starters, he explained what it meant to handle it on my own and informed me that though it was an option, it would not do me the most good because I would probably still be in suspension for an indefinite amount of time. More than that, he let me know every single piece of information that I would need to end up on the winning side of things and put no pressure on me to employ him... but rather to be prepared, regardless of the direction I went in. And lastly, he was consistently available, via email and text, right up until he went in to meet with the DA on my behalf. He immediately sent me a receipt for the court fees, etc. and was an all around NICE GUY! This has been a thorn in my flesh for years, and in a week's time, this man did what no one else was wiling to do. I don't anticipate ever needing him again (hahahaha) but if I did - I wouldn't think twice. Thank you, Roy!
