Retained Tim Burch’s firm when they were still "The Burch Law Office". Tim was very encouraging and confidently stated that his firm’s representation would result in a positive outcome. I paid their fee in advance. Initially they were responsive, and the early results were good. However, as the case dragged on, it became far more difficult to get timely responses to our emails and phone calls seeking updates on our case. It seems that there is no one in his office to handle simple tasks like answering the phone, taking messages, etc.… We made the 3-hour roundtrip to Greenville, NC roughly a half dozen times only to find out that our case had been postponed. When the case was finally adjudicated the outcome was only slightly better than the worst possible scenario. I know the result of a court case can never be guaranteed, but I believe that counseling us to prepare for the worst would have been more responsible. Since our court case has been resolved, we have needed the services of Tim Burch to deal with some of the aftermath since his firm was the attorney of record for the original case. Getting someone from his firm to return phone calls and emails has been difficult to impossible, even when we offered to pay them for the additional work. When we did finally reach Tim Burch, he committed to handling a time-sensitive matter related to our case, but ultimately failed to do so. We had to contact a different attorney to handle the matter. I would not recommend Tim Burch or his law firm.

1. Still waiting on a return phone call and email response after 1 month and 5 Voicemails and 5 emails.
2. They let the matter just die out without any legal advice and counseling. Wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t still have money that could be used for services.
3. Tried to bite the bullet and just close out and get a receipt saying services fulfilled and payment received but still haven’t received a response back.

Would not recommend and will not use this law firm again. Horrible service for me.

I usually do not post reviews online, but as I was searching for this firms number to give to a friend I read a review that I think completely misleads you about this firm. When I first contacted this firm a couple of years ago I left a message for a lawyer to call me about a ticket I had and within an hour or so one called me and explained the entire process to me. About a year later I had another issue that needed the attention of a lawyer and I did not hesitate to call them. Every encounter I had with this office was like you would expect a lawyers office to be, I do not believe that anyone lied to me or mislead me in anyway. I was very happy with the results I got and if I ever need legal advice again I will call ( and as the case is here recommend them to a friend.)
